Looks like Kanye West has turned up to the party when everyones getting a taxi home, setting up a college fund for George Floyds daughter apparently. I'd expect better from Mr West, heck Corden has been hoovering up likes and retweets for days now and it hasn't cost him a penny. Or a cent or what ever they call them.

He's doing this deliberately now isn't he? Nobody can be this born this stupid surely.

F*ck me. This is why the race debate needs looking at in context. America is a f***d up country across the board. A man like this can rise to the top.

 

It reads a little different when watched in the full clip but still comes across as crass. I agrre about America, its a strange place. The times i've been i've enjoyed but always come away with a feeling of falseness about the place.

This is David Dorn a 77 year old ex police officer murdered by looters while he was protecting his neighbours shop , unharmed David was gunned down by at least 3 people . They then filmed him bleeding to death on the floor outside the store , they taunted him and laughed while he laid dying .

 

The scenes being shown of behaviour in America is sickening.

Whilst acknowledging Floyd suffered a horrible and unnecessary death, am I the only one who feels uneasy about the way a man convicted of holding a gun to the stomach of a woman whilst he robbed her house, has been made a martyr

 

The protests we see now are as a result of what you could call a 'perfect storm' to light the blue touch paper. A black guy, a crazy cop and the world of mobile phones and social media. The background story of the deceased matters nothing to the people protesting and i'm not sure it should matter. After all, the cause of death is clear. Wether its murder or not is open to debate, the guy pleads for his life, had this been anyone but a police officer in the incident we may have seen a different outcome to the eventual court charges.
One thing the incident should raise which very rarely if ever gets discussed is what exactly is the role of the police in society? And these discussion should not be exempt from criticising the very communities the police are allegedly supposed to be protecting. As it stands from my own view, its not the individual police officers i have no time for, its the police forces themselves. They are apparently there to protect the citizens of the communities they serve, not serve them up in body bags.

 

We'll never know. But what we do know is that white victims suffer the same fate as George Floyd in America. Without the consequential riots and looting.

The division is just going to build and build. I've felt for a while that that identity politics movement would take us towards more and more violence and I think we're seeing it. It's just the start.

 

The story is correct, but I think that's a picture of FOX TV news presenter David Webb rather than David Dorn.
