I find it quite amusing that the position of coach only gets brought to light when results go against us.
Its disrespectful to suggest Bowyer had to take Drury as part of the deal to become Bradford Ctys manager.

 

Stop twisting it! No one is saying that Bowyer had to take Drury as part of the deal to come to Bradford.

However, I have it from a good source that Drury is number 2 due to his contract.

Clearly Bowyer didn't demand to have his own team in when he joined.

You wasn't born yesterday and surely by now under Rhodes you understand how Bradford City operates! Lacks ambition and all about penny pinching!

 

I'm not so sure it's about the Coach (full stop). It's the manner in which we lose games - or even concede a goal, when we've actually WON. It's part of the Coach's remit to identify and iron out these reoccurring errors. For me, those errors are for the Coach and Manager to sort equally. And this is the bit I think that most posters are directed towards. Drury is young, not really experienced and certainly not a household name ........ Those points in them selves make him an obvious and easy target.
If ANY Coach is at fault - Surely it the goal keeping Coach ? HE only has to tend 3 players, yet all 3 continue with lackadaisical screw ups, when we need them (screw ups) least.

 

That's exactly what you are implying, unfortuatly the guy who was his nunber two at Blackpool was made manager when Bowyer left, maybe it was put to McPhillips would he come to Bradford City as Bowyers number 2 and he thought he was better as a manager than an assistant.

Youre correct I wasn't born yesterday but once again the same old rhetoric from you, I and most right thinking City fans are quite happy with where we are placed in the league, I'll take promotion through the play offs but would prefer one of the auto places and at the minute both are within our grasp.

With tonights games, and City playing on Saturday - I imagine the 'top' will look even tighter by 5.00 PM Sat.

 

Not seen a footballer yet who's never made a human error and both Plymouths goals can be classed as that.
The first could have very easily been a free kick to us as the Plymouth players arms were all over Pritchard, and the second was hardly a good attacking move from Plymouth, O'Donnell kicking the ball straight out to a Plymouth player with our back line all over the place.
Agree Drury is an easy target, Bowyer is involved on a day to day basis with regards coaching, as you say Drury is still young and learning just as Bowyer will be.
Bowyers has hardly got a career of football management behind him his first managers job being for Blackburn Rovers after being careraker when Michael Appleton was sacked

Yes second playing third points dropped by one or both if they draw, Grimsby quite capable of taking all 3 points from Cheltengam at home.
