And this is why Bowyer is now under vast pressure. How would it have been a terrible decision?

Rhodes should of got an interim manager until the under of the season and then Bowyer. Sky have said that's what Huddersfield should of done.

The results clock starts from the managers 1st game and Siewert/Bowyer needed to get off to a good start or pressure would be on them.

    Vast pressure on Bowyer now.

The only reason Town 'should' have done that, is because sometimes people are unable to remember or accept the context of the initial appointment. But any strong leader of any good company or football club is surely going to be able to ignore the weight of any criticism from fans who can't or won't understand the situation.

So, with all respect, I think Town fans should have been ignored entirely - just as anyone saying Bowyer is under real pressure should be ignored until the likely outcome of this season can be more accurately predicted.

Results business! Bowyer like any football manager will be sacked if they don't get good results.

Bowyer will know this. Siewert would of done also.

It's okay saying "results business", but actually all businesses aren't run in identical manners.

The Town chairman thought like you did; that does not mean Rupp and Rhodes do.

Are you genuinely saying you believe Rupp and Rhodes will fire Bowyer after, say, 5 games?

Aye, that went well. He came in and assessed the squad and thought it appropriate to ignore ANY work on the piss-poor midfield. No, actually he went one better than that, after assessing his squad...... he gave new contracts to 3 of those midfielders....!!!!!!

Yes, I fully believe Rhodes and Rupp would fire Bowyer but don't use numbers to suit you. 5 games? It'd been 14 so far, 15 tomorrow.

We should be winning our next 3 matches.

Fine, so you think they will fire him in the next 3 matches?

    3 matches?

He's been here for 14 so why talk about 3 matches?

Because I'm asking if you think he will be sacked in the next 3 games.

If you like you can rephrase it as "do you think he will be sacked by game 17", but it literally makes no difference.

I'm just asking, will he be gone very soon in your opinion?

I'm not trying to trip you up, I'm just curious - because I think even if we DON'T win any of our next three games, there is no chance Bowyer gets sacked.

I'm saying we should be winning our next 3 games.

I believe that if we don't then after 17 games and 2 or 3 wins to his record then he is starting to put Rhodes and Rupp's in a difficult position.

Well let's hope that decision doesn't need to be made.

But I would hope if we win 2 or 3 out of the next 3 games that you won't still hark back to a time where Eoin Doyle was our only striker, we had only 1 winger, and Anthony O'Connor was arguably our best centre back, because that would ruin any manager's win percentage.

No, but the season has started and his midfield is no stronger now than when he took over. How that area of the field wasn’t a priority god only knows..!

You are pulling people up on talking about 3 matches, being a bit pedantic I think it's wrong to quote 14 games. His record should be from when he signed his contract extension. At that point he's deemed to be the right man for the job and if we are to start judging him it should be from then. So you can knock about 5 matches off your 14-15.

What on earth are you saying? Utter nonsense at the highest level.

Fact is he has being here for 14 games and fact is we have only won 2.

When Rhodes decided to offer a contract to him or when Bowyer signed is irrelevant.

Both playing stats and manager stats starts from their 1st game it's as simple as that.

Stop making excuses for failure- it's embarrassing!

We shipped goals for fun last season. Whenever any sort or pressure was on we let a goal in. Defence had to be number one priority and rightfully has been sorted by the looks of it.

Strikers then we only had Doyle on the books who clearly wasn’t his number one choice. So we got players in there quickly.

We have a limited budget. Mcburnie money or none. He said it will take him a few windows to get his own squad. It’s not fifa where a few buttons are pressed and you’ve got your signings

So if Bowyer says jump then you say how high? You believe anything he says?

If we appoint a manager we have to trust his judgement. Otherwise we might aswell have kept Rahic and let him dictate who we sign.

    Can’t have it both ways

The problem we have got is we can't afford to sack Bowyer due to not having any money it didn't matter to Huddersfield.
