Flyover Refund Received in Full

Thank you Jon, Stefan has made most Bradford City fans happy today with that welcomed news about Edin Rahic so I'm quite happy to go along with the rest who want to donate to both the Bradford Burns Unit and Stephen Darbys charity.

 

Dont think we've got any gooners just the odd iron that's attached himself.

 

Thank god this stupid flyover didn't go ahead as you had Stefan on the banner too !!!

 

Why not continue with the flyover but change the banner to "Thank You Stefan Rupp"

Change the banner to "thank you for finally realising you were duped and your investment was in serious danger. We applaud your recent statement but I am sure you can understand why supporters were incandescent with both Mr Rahic and you."

Question? Is the time right to donate to the two charities. I know we wanted to wait awhile to see what happened, but I think it is redundant now. Obviously we will have to wait until Stephen gets his up and running, but we could donate half of it to the Burns Unit?

Yes, it's pleasing that Rupp have kicked Edin out(even though no comment on buying his shares has been mentioned)

However, Rupp is still partly to blame for where the club currently finds itself and until he proves he is capable of running this wonderful club and puts his hand in his pocket to buy players then it's not a "Thank You" for me but just a step in the right direction.

Rupp needs to deliver now. No excuses!

The threat of the fly over and the media attention it brought certainly helped to raise awareness of how unhappy our fans were. This certainly contributed to the return of Julian Rhodes and Stefan Rupp becoming concerned to the point of removing Edin Rahic from his post. Therefore, the fact that the fly over took place or not is irrelevant.

Well done in at least having contributed to saving our club from what was certain demise. Relegation or not, optimism has returned.

Split my funds equally between the charities, it will benefit them and we have what we wanted. Win, Win!!

well, given our efforts have proved fruitful and we have succesfully got rid of Edin, I would now very much like my contribution to go to Stephen Darbys foundation.

it's a shame some people don't care as much about our club being a success, but nevermind.

 

@JonButterfield I recieved the following email from Wayne this morning who is on a temporary ban.

Can you please copy and paste the attached from me into the “Flyover Refund Received in Full” thread for me.
The purpose of the flyover was to raise awareness of how unhappy fans were. This publicity, together with fans boycotting, played a key role and Rupp removing Rahic. As such, I’d say, job well done.
And with that, I’d like to thank Butterfield and Nick for their efforts in setting this up, and to everyone that contributed.
As for my donation, I’d like my dollars to be sent to the Stephen Darby charity. He is a memory of where we were a few short years ago and it is cruel how this illness has/will affect his life.
