    We might have a cultural class here. Investment world v Football world. Rupp has invested his money and intends to stay long term, fully understands that is what is required in business. Football world is passionate and sees owners as responsible for the club as well as investing money. This was clearly how Rupp anticipated he would be a silent cheque signing owner. However, the person he jumped into bed with, knew as much about football as he did.

    Obviously if he wishes to carry on being a cheque signing silent owner he will need a competent chairman/CEO. However, my personal choice would be if was able to become more involved so he can fully understand the fans and the fabric of City. We won’t know what his plan is until he announces it once Rahic has gone.

    So how have we assembled the highest paid squad in 15 seasons? I think he's clearly put money up.. Just how it has been spent is the issue!

    To be fair that wasn't hard as Lawn and Rhodes got quality in and we had coaches that could coach.

    Sorry, i miss the net spend figure on transfers? What is it?

    What’s net spend got to do with anything? Fact is money has been spent and whilst you might not like it money has been spent on the ground! We’ll never know how much he’s put in but I imagine it’s a lot more than what you claim/think

    Having said that he was supposed to be surfacing in november and that never happened.

    No Bronco, his remit would be to keep his nose out, not panic on bad days, not get giddy on good days. Football is different and Edin has spectacularly mismanged but still, Rupp was an investor, none of this is his fault.

    I'm assuming the dissent around the ownership of the football club is now at an end?

    I'm happy with the outcome of today, so gratefully ask that monies are shared equally behind the Burns Unit and Stephen Darby charity MND

    Now is the time for folk to please contact me in private for refunds, including those who wish to donate to any charity of their choice - as the vast majority of contributors have elected to split between Darby's charity and the Burns Unit, any unclaimed donations will go there - so if this is your choice, no further action is required!

    I would appreciate if everybody could respect each individuals choice :)
