I don't blame Rupp at all and he must be wishing held never got involved. I've had silent investors and the last thing I'd want is them meddling in what I know about and they don't.

Jon, hold onto the money until Rahic has gone, if that happens then my donation can go to the burns unit.

 

The difference is @abbomf you knew what you was doing so the silent invester would be happy with his return on investment, he would have every right to question you if he saw the business was not performing as you said it would ?.

 

That's the point I don't understand the most with Rupp.

Correct. We haven't benefitted in any way from Rahic, either in club development or financially . Quite how some were blaming Rupp when he was the one financing the purchase is bemusing. Easy to say he needed to be involved more but he had effectively employed Rahic to do that job, i guess Rupp has more important things to deal with than a small business like Bradford City. Hence why he has asked Rhodes to be involved.

 

I think it's safe to say Rupp has kept up to his side of the bargain, making funds available when required.. Not his fault we decided to use those funds the way we did.. Should have been more involved yes but the money has been there.

 

Rupp has always been the silent partner in this, occasionally speaking when the need arises. This is/was Rahic's baby, the day to day running is down to him because thats what he dreamt of doing. I'm guessing what was happening at the club and what he was telling Stefan was happening was somewhat different. Can't hide it forever though, especially when you are rock bottom.

 

I'm guessing he's asked Rhodes back because unlike Rahic, Rupp understands that he knows SFA about running a football club Rog

 

Yes he said his investment was worth the risk, unfortunately it was our club he was risking, I would still prefer him out of our club, but that won't happen if he won't sell.
We will have to bide our time and see if Edin does go, but if he doesn't and the fly bye is resurrected I would still want the banner to say Rahic & Rupp out.

 

If Rupp stays and leaves the running of the club to Julian then I’d be happy for him to be here. There aren’t many £100 million investors around who are involved in Bradford City. With the right amount of investment he’ll make his money back and more. IF he gives Rhodes the free rein he gave Rahic then we can get back to where we were and eventually push on.
