He’s left footed so they could play together.

The reality is TE, every player last season was wank. It can’t be a coincidence. Every player should be given a clean slate, starting this pre-season.

Likes a tackle, good in the air, has pace and can find a decent long range pass. Sounds like he should be on the radar of championship clubs with that write up....

It has to be considered a positive that his current club wanted to keep him.

Having said that, either through injury or form, he wasn't a consistent part of their starting 11. I think this is one of those so and so signings and we won't know how good he is until we see him in action in league two. Given that he can play a few positions in defense Bowyer might view him as a utility player?

The majority of our summer signings will probably fall into the category of "I'm not sure whether this is a good signing". I expect we'll only make a handful of signings where we can say with 90% certainty that they will turn out to be good. Thinking back to 2012-2013 I can remember being confident that McArdle, Doyle, Jones and Thompson would all turn out to be good signings. If we don't make at least three signings where we can be reasonably sure that they will be very good players then i'll start to get worried.

Not true though mate. In their promotion season, he started 18 times, came on 4 times and stayed on the bench another 18 times.

Plus he’s actually 27yrs old and not 25. Not that changes much. He did finish the season in their team, starting 5 of their last 8 league games, although he was hauled off at half time against Sunderland

Aside from anything else he has a double barrelled name.

There's never* been a bad signing with a double barrelled name.

I’ll give the lad a chance and he’s exactly what we need with being a huge giant but I would trust Coleman’s opinion of a player over their fans

Wow watching that video I'm surprised he's not a regular in the England team.

    Patience is a virtue .....;)

Whilst a good clip, 'every dog has it's day' ! A shame there aren't more similar clips to endorse his ability. :(

Well, from the selected highlights in that video, he certainly looks quick and powerful. If he hits the ground running, he could become a fans favourite, looks an upgrade on the too laid back NKP anyhow

I apologise as it's very petty but your use of commas frustrates me.

Totally agree with this. Let’s hope GB is a very good chef and can make use of some of our more exotic ingredients!! What worries me the most is toxicity from last season and given we still have about half of the squad with us, how this subsides and or is eliminated.

We need better than ‘OK’ though if we want to be challenging for the auto-promotion places
