    No they don't.

They've agreee to give the EFL money for the new TV deal.. who do you think is paying for the play off testing currently for league 2 play offs?

Also loans for next season won't have a fee.

EFL has money, PFA has money and the government is giving out money.

It's not the PL clubs fault that some EFL clubs including ours are not run correctly.

PL clubs are losing money right now.

Cant see anyone disagreeing with that comment, watching Bradford City recently has been anything but fun.

In that case Old Trafford would be 19k and Anfield would be 13k rather than 25k and 18k.

so which is it a third or reduced by 75%?

Fans' return to stadiums imminent in Italy and Spain while Premier League looks to September
Home supporters numbering up to 20 per cent of ground's capacity may be allowed back for Serie A resumption in mid-June

It's the Telegraph again I can't read it my 30 days free read are up, so with your lack of response I can only assume they are not stopping the older fans from attending, it seems its just the odd poster or two on here who are making government policy on the huff ;).

I see that in Hungary, fans are now allowed to watch football from today. The country has a less restrictive social distancing policy than our own - 1.5 metres compared to our 2 metres - which helps them a little.

The safety limit reflecting the Hungarian social distancing metric for their football grounds is to have every other row empty with three vacant seats between fans on each row. If you do the maths, that's a maximum usage of 12.5% of the ground capacity. Translated into VP terms that's about 3,000 fans in total. And that's about half of what you are proposing in our country which has more stringent social distancing than Hungary. You need to get real and to stop plucking random numbers out of the air.

What you talking about? I said around 3k to start with.

Tell that to @Storck@Storck. It's him who thinks it will be about 8k -10k

My 8k was from your quote of the numbers for Old Trafford and Anfield which were only reduced to a third. Then you said reduced by 75% and now you are agreeing with @Dennis@Dennis saying 12.5%.

I know you like to change your mind but that many times in one day has to be a new record for you.

So are you now saying 12.5% rather than the 33% or the 25% from earlier?

That takes no accounts of households. There's 4 season ticket holders in my household. If football clubs invite the biggest season ticket households to attend, they will squeeze more in. That's most efficient financially. Most bums on seats, most food sales, most sponsorship. I'm not saying they they should do this. I'm just saying you won't end up with people sitting individually across the ground so it will be higher than your 12.5%. There's also a not entirely convincing argument for a "bubble" effect. Maybe let you sit next to one other person week in and week out so long as that one other never changes.

You can make up whatever rules you want but it won't be your decision. THe only country so far to have re-introduced fans to theit football grounds is Hungary. They did so with strict distancing between fans - three vacant seats between EVERY fan and every second row empty - without any allowance for family groups. And I guess Hungary has as many families as we do attending the games together. The rules which the Hungarian Govt and their footballing bodies have applied amounts to a max capacity of 12.5%. Every other footballing nation will be watching what Hungary has done and I doubt very much that any other country will be any more lenient with their fans. Football isn't a special case and lots of other sectors of the entertainment business will be pleading their own special case. If football is allowed to ignore the social distancing rules, why not cinemas or theatres or the opera?

You might be both right and wrong, looking at this. It's a Hungarian game from yesterday. It looks like a small number of fans have been let in but nobody is too bothered about where they sit - or stand even.

would those rules actually give 2m between people? I can not remember the exact depth of each step but even if it is 50cm there would have to be 4 empty rows before someone could sit directly in front of you.
And at least 4 seats empty between people.

that would put it down to about 4% available so about 1000. Obviously you could zig zag people so using every third row and not have people directly behind each other but the maths starts getting confusing due to row lengths etc but even then it probably only about 1500 at 2m between people
