    See this is where you are wrong.

    The rush of season ticket sales at the end is because of the deadline and those that want one will just have waited for whatever reason to the near deadline date to get one.

    The days of signing a high profile player to increase sales have gone. Clubs sign players when they can do a deal at the best price and to get certain players in before pre season. That's it.

    Bradford City will more than likely going to lose 3 of their best players, so this thing about signings is old hat.

    Fans want to see Bradford City playing at a higher level. That's what automatically makes a difference to season ticket sales.

    The surprise for me is that we’ve paid a fee, offered him two years and even been prepared to take a chance on him based on what happened at Walsall.

    if he kicks off here it isn’t going to make financial sense to cut him loose….and any unrest might upset the apple cart.

    I hope the likes of Doyle, Songoo and Cook keep him in check. It sounds like he has ability when he’s knuckling down. Fingers crossed.

    Exactly. When OConnor, Watt and Vernam move on this board will be full of spiteful comments on their character and ability just like Walsall fans. Lets trust Sparky on all our signings.

    I'm far from convinced on this one, but let's see. He wouldn't be the first talented but problematic player to flourish in different surroundings and with a different manager.

    After all, Mark Hughes did play with Eric Cantona, and that didn't turn out too badly.

    He pissed of the fans just as Anthony OConnor did some fans didn’t have a good word to say about him. The fans obviously didn’t like him but his stats are decent

    Scenario here for ya - and hypothetical. If City put on social media tomorrow that we had agreed terms for the return of Burke, Cullen and Wells are you suggesting it would not have an impact on season ticket sales for that day/week?
