    You have to take into account what fans say about him but I think the judgement may be clouded by a Anthony OConnor moment at a game. His stats are pretty good especially when he played wing back for a big part of the season

    It just drives me nuts. All anyone need do is look at the news on the website or Twitter feed to get it right.
    Every time I see Vernam spelt incorrectly it makes me cringe.

    Just watched his video, looks great on the ball. If Mark Hughes can’t manage him then his career will be in the doldrums. I am trusting them to know what they are doing. He is definitely a good player, let’s keep our fingers crossed he falls in love with the club and fans.

    True, but Bobby Campbell was shown the door by Halifax, Huddersfield, Sheffield United, Aston Villa & Northern Ireland.

    Let's judge him on what he does here and keep in mind that Mark Hughes has signed him, signed him early and paid a fee.

    Stephan Rupp has nothing to do with any of the players we are signing and is clearly backing Hughes.

    Looking at the video, he looks reasonably two footed (hurrah!) and has been played down the left at times. But he is quite clearly right footed. Most of his shots, tackles, passes and crosses are with his right. So he could be an option at right wing back if we ever decide to play with wingbacks
