    I'm not too fussed about players giving a bit back as long as you see an improvement. Too many fans dish out awful abuse but then throw their toys out of the pram if they are challenged

    I'm with you on that one, but as others have suggested we need an answer, it may cost us with regards replacements if we have identified them and another club comes in whilst we're awaiting their decisions.

    Just wondered if you had cottoned on about recent signings such as Odasebe and new contracts for Hendrie and Sutton? Seen the state of the pitch in the background? These pictures and interviews were done weeks ago.

    Why are club only telling us now?

    Anyway, the whole discussion was about news flow and the timing of it - and why they do it. It was never about how effective it was or wasn't.

    I still think we are around 4 players short. But we have signed 8 new players and it is June 10th! Unheard of.

    I am predicting, 2 or 3 to be announced next week in the build up to the season ticket deadline. Like you say, keep the momentum going and keep a feel good factor in the air. Hopefully we see a late surge and hit the 12,000 mark.

    I really don't get this "signing of players has no influence on season tickets" crap that @Fordy117@Fordy117 & @Park bantam@Park bantam are spouting. Of course it does, do they honestly believe that if we had signed eight players from Oldham, Halifax, Dover etc that our season ticket sales wouldn't be lower ?

    Sales are holding up very well and a massive part of that is early and promising signings. We have a large fan base, but sign crap and the high number of people who buy season tickets but only come to half a dozen matches will soon drop off a cliff.

    People want to see investment in the squad before they commit to investing in a season ticket, part of the reason why last seasons sales were slow to begin with, but picked up towards the end.
