Wasn't great on the whole, genuine consensus seems to be Corbyn shaded it but not sure it will change much overall. Quite a poor format from ITV, I thought.
Tories changing their twitter handle to a fake fact-checking service during a debate where their leader is accused of repeatedly lying isn't a great look. Neither is Johnson saying he thinks Prince Andrew is 'beyond reproach'.

I am to watch the full interview tomorrow after watching City tonight but that is a fabrication of what was actually said, having watched some clips on ITV.

BJ said the monarchy is "beyond reproach" when asked about is the Royal family fit for purpose whilst echoing JC on the victims of Epstein adding that the law must take it course, regarding PA.

You're clutching at straws there. He said it about the monarchy, of which Prince Andrew is a member, in a debate about Prince Andrew's links to paedophilia.

Is this really the best we have?

I don't want to vote for either of them, and having seen some highlights of it, even the audience openly laughed at both of them showing I am not alone with these thoughts.

    I couldn't agree more.

We have a clutch of pygmy politicians at the moment who lack real vision and are not trusted by our own electorate. Heavens knows what other countries' statesmen and women think of the calibre of their UK counterparts. Whatever we might think of their particular brand of politics, the likes of Thatcher and Blair had gravitas and standing and strode on the world stages. They were influential in positioning the UK as a leading player and were highly regarded around the world. Our current crop of pygmy politicians are second raters and culpable in reducing the influence of the UK around the world. They don't even play the same game as the likes of Thatcher and Blair let alone compete in the same league.

Probably due to the PC brigade politics are so sterile and scripted,Corbyn can say daft stuff and get away with it and probably applauded by the hard of thinking and Boris is too soft towards him, really wish Farage was this country's PM,has the answers but not enough support...

No mention of Naz Shah the MP for bradford who tweeted the Rotherham groomed girls should have kept quiet to protect racial harmony , no outrage from anyone in the Labour party . No mention of the darling of the Labour party and once tipped to be the next speaker , the 1 and only Harriett Harmon who was a member of the disgraceful PIE organisation , ( peadophile - information- exchange ) again no outrage . Labour hope people have poor memories .

Well , like a lot of people, who do you vote for?

Most parties want to ignore the 17.4m BREXIT leave votes cos they dont think the result matches their agenda.

    That's not democracy is it?

Our political system is now in complete ruins and I suspect we will not have a majority government for decades to come.

For the first time ever I am considering joining the 14m others who did not vote at the last GE.

I watched that, then the live interviews with Party leaders and then the Prince Andrew interview.

    This country is f*cked.

Like the audience I spent most of the time laughing at the clowns, it was like two geriatrics fighting over who gets to sit with naughty Nora at bingo.

Truly pathetic, and an hour of my life I won’t get back. Haven’t got round to watching the second one at 10pm yet.

Just Sturgeon who claims that because we voted to leave the EU that gives them a reason for another indy referendum being asked if there was a people vote and the UK stayed in the EU does that remove that reason for an indy referendum. Not surprisingly she said no, she still wants one showing that she is using anything to claim another referendum.

Not bothered about a referendum on Scottish independence, If it happens they will probably vote to remain in the UK unfortunately,

Jeremy Corbyn is unelectable. I honestly cannot believe some folk think he will win the general election and become our PM.

These folk are residing in bubbles and echo chambers, where everybody is convincing themselves that the Tories are unfit for purpose and Labour have workable policies, no issues with antisemitism and leaders we can look up too and trust - Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott. All 3 are tdeluded and under their 'soft, caring lefty demeanour' are dangerous communists at heart.

The country is safer in Tory hands, they are far from perfect but I trust them with the economy and immigration. Two extremely important factors. I also trust them with the NHS (look at NHS Wales or Mid Staffs for how Labout run the NHS) - it is shameful for Corbyn to keep banging that same drum about it been sold off to Trump. Utterly shameful.

    Hoki Koki Corbyn as PM
    McDonnel as Chancellor
    Dianne Abbacuss as Home Secretary

    Let that sink in....

I think you’re right, that I don’t think Corbyn will win. But the hyperbole in the rest of the post just serves as a revealed preference. Call Labour what you will, but ‘communists’ is ridiculous bravado.

At least Labour (and the Liberal Democrats for that matter) have released costing documents for their manifestos. There might be issues with those documents, but they’ve at least attempted to show fiscal responsibility. The Conservatives made no such effort in 2017 on an election they were almost certain they were going to win.

You might trust the Conservative party, and most of their voters seem to raise that as a key element, but there are huge parts of the electorate that clearly have been badly let down over the past 9 years.

You could write most of that post by swapping the parties around. I’m not saying that would be any more right, it wouldn’t. But surely we should be debating policy rather than just throwing terms about like an unregulated party election broadcast. If we want politics to be better than the sink hole we’re in at the moment then we have to debate these things better and avoid the wild partisan hollering.

They are communists masked as socialists - don't be fooled.

Wasn't it McDonnel who took Chairman Mao's 'little red book' into Parliament and started citing from it? Corbyn has also gushed over Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez on numerous occasions. All 3 are mass murdering communists.

It is by no surprise the Communist Party of GB have embraced Corbyn and the Labour Party and are not standing at the election next month. Instead channelling their support for Corbyn.
