Fordy, as a businessman you must know that for the changes you demand re Rhodes and Rupp a better alternative MUST be in place - in the current climate who do you suggest is going to invest in the club and who is going to take over the superior running of the club. Whilst I understand you are very successful you obviously dont have the financial means to do so or the desire to assist in the running. Unless there is a suitable replacement out there we have what we have to keep the club going as best they can. We are all aware Rupp is not going to splash money at the club but he is providing the financial support and stability we need right now.
Instead of constantly putting the club down - its a backwards club, going nowhere, signings are crap, everyone should go blah blah blah - do something positive about it! Get that chunky filofax of yours out and starts rallying your contacts

Would fully agree with you apart from am thinking rightly or wrongly the chairmen of Bolton Salford Mansfield have seen how weak this division will be next season and they may never get a better chance of getting out of this horrible league and are funding it themselves without risk to the club just my thoughts !!!

To want to swap that with Bolton or any other club living beyond their means is madness, isn't it?

Bolton broke nearly every financial rule going to boost their position in the Football league , Bury did the same and are now out of Football league pyramid . Salford are a team propped up by ex footballers with a multi- millinaire backer , if Harrogate for example got bought by a billionaire who ploughed millions into them would that be a fair comparison ?. I love it when fans complain about Rupp ( not a fan of him by a long way ) if he decided to walk and sell the club for £10 what would happen then ? . There are a lot of clubs near to meltdown including championship sides , this is the future for the Football league . It will only be the PL that feel very little pain because of covid and thats a false position anyway because of TV money . The salary / budget cap is IMHO is fair then all clubs are on a level playing field , otherwise the clubs with the richest backers will always be in a better position to buy success .
