Bolton basically have a team of kids on about 65p a week. It's nonsensical comparing us with 14 players and some of whom are on decent money with Bolton who have 8 kids on 25p a week each. The squad as in the players we have is almost the same as last season. If we are only signing 2 more players how is it much different to last season? Never said anything about size

 

You're not talking any sense and letting the club cloud your brain.

The way I understand it is this...The EFL has talked about salary capping but not confirmed how it's going to happen. However, teams are now allowed to buy players and the transfer window fully opens in 7 days.

So, as a businessman I would be thinking sign players I want to sign players on expensive wages first because the EFL can't then turn round and say anything about the players that I have signed because the rule wasn't in place. I could argue that the contract players on the books count and any player from the ruling date but not those in between

Those that are signed well the rule isn't in place won't count. It's impossible really to count them as the EFL would be punishing them for getting on with business.

The division is going to be very strange next season.

Bolton and Salford spending big, others struggling to survive.

 

But that has nothing to do with the salary cap that you are pointing out all the time but clear mismanagement and direction from the club.

 

Looks to me like the teams spending the money are mismanaging.

What, really, is the end goal with Salford? Tens of millions to create an infrastructure from nothing? They can afford it, I guess, but really?

What's the end goal for Bolton?

I'm sceptical about these two.
