You can produce a PDF copy to print at home yes, but for those without a printer you can request one by post.

On a similar note, Bournemouth played MK Dons in the EFL cup on Saturday, and it was Sheff Weds v Huddersfield on Sunday. Big crowds at each, and no requirement for any fan to prove their Covid status.

Apparently the EFL are supposed to be publishing an updated supporters code of conduct today, incorporating the latest COVID advice.

It seems talks with the government are ongoing and clubs have been advised to trial their technology for handling COVID passports, in anticipation of their compulsory introduction around the end of September.

There is still no definitive answer as to whether or not COVID passports will be compulsory for all, some or no clubs in the EFL.

With them playing in front of a crowd right now without the need of Covid passports to introduce them after would be rather farcical.

Seems to have gone strangely quiet about this. Are they waiting for a bit of a spike now season has started which they will point to football and blame it before introducing them?

You're just a big cynic. More likely is that they don't realise that football exists outside of the Prem and they're waiting for the results of some polling to find out if it's a vote winner or not.

Isn't the Govt waiting for the end of September to introduce them? At that point every adult will have had the opportunity to have two jabs. Prior to that date, some will argue that they're being victimised because they haven't been able to get jabbed through no fault of their own. Come 30 Sept, that argument wouldn't be valid.

That seems to be their plan with nightclubs, but what we don't know how far they will cast the net beyond nightclubs, other than vague hints that other large events may be included, and in that latter category most of the talk has been about the Premier League.

The PL and the EFL are still working with various experts on a Covid pass in readiness for their introduction in the near future. The details on the NHS app itself has recently changed subtly and now has a 'Domestic Events pass' rather than the previous 'Trial Events' pass in addition to the 'International Travel' pass. I'm still not convinced that the PM has the balls to take the decision to introduce them!

In the news today that Bojo is backtracking and says covid passes for nightclubs and other venues will more likely be voluntary

As the test and trace app is different in Scotland We'll probably find it won't work when we are down for matches at Valley Parade

I would hope not. I could half understand this if it was rolled out off the bat, but many of those who supported it to keep them "safe" have now been out there doing the things these will be required for without having them, surely the reservations they had at mixing with the great unvaxxed are now removed.

You can pass Covid and catch Covid if you have been full vaccinated. The delta varriant is spreading still at the same rate regardless of the number of people vaccinated. Infact it has been suggested that those vaccinated are more likely to show no signs of having the virus whilst having it, so you are more likely to be mixing with someone who has it but doesn't realise they have it because after all why test when you have a covid passport?

Considering it is likely to be until at least 2023 to see if the vaccine is a success or failure or indeed if people may have a future health issue how can any government say Covid passports work.
