And by the way, your statement about Sweden and Singapore is ill founded. Their populations are around 10m and 5m respectively - they're not as densely populated as the countries imposing more stringent measures, so they're not going to face the same challenges. Sweden HAS imposed a number of voluntary social restrictions but their infection curve looks manageable. They haven't ruled our more stringent measures if things worsen.

No its not. The rate has dropped from yesterday. That's it. In a pandemic that's measured over weeks and months, a 1 day drop isn't significant. If it continues to drop as an overall trend over a week, 2 weeks, then its considered to be dropping.
