COVID-19

In theory if there is a 14 day period the virus would drop after 14 days if it was followed to the letter of the law. However with all the NHS staff being potentially exposed to it, then their families being indirectly exposed to it there is only so far you can go.

As recently as last week there were pictures of hundreds crammed in tube trains, if they get it they take it back to their household or work place so there are thousands of potential exposure on that one tube train alone via direct and indirect contact (ie someone on the tube then going back to their family or then going shopping).

 

I go away for a few hours and all sorts of lively discussions going on. Great!

Just thought I will get the Merc out and done full shop for someone that's unable.

Anyway, never seen as many self employed vans out. The self employed are still working hard and clearly not taking notice of the Coronavirus.

1.6k people on average die everyday in the U.K.and we still going on about this Virus? Really! Don't think many will be able to last longer than 3 weeks with this lockdown

 

If you could save say 300 of those people every day by restricting people’s movements. Would you do it?

 

The death toll from the virus is going down in the U.K.

 

Just think we are putting numbers on this and numbers can look good or bad depending on how you look at them.

If we put numbers on how many die from Flu you wouldn't care but this is new and it's panic stations.

New date set for Olympics, so they are expecting it to be fine by summer 2021

 

I just cant help thinking this is a flu and you have to hope for the best.

That shouldn't bring a world lockdown.

 

True, but you need to look at the positives

 

How contagious it is makes it a lot worse than the common flu. Plus we have a vaccine for that strain. We don’t for this

 

Sweden and Singapore not on lockdown because they were organised.

Please understand this lockdown is only because we haven't the testing, equipment etc.

Singapore you go into building that test your temperature and if showing high you can't go in.

So hurry up Borris and do your job. Get the equipment in so I can get about my business.

 

We don't have a vaccine for flu. People still die from flu.

 

Not sure about schools - the kids seem to get it. Its a number of adults that seem to be the most problematic.

Of course people still die from it but every year people at risk can get a flu jab to help them fight it

 

This is true mate but no one knows what level of flu you get if you get it plus with the jab you can still get it.

The reason for panic with this virus is because it attacks the lungs.

 

Well what was in injection I got done at my local pharmacy in November if it was not a flu jab ?.

 

Your business clearly isn't essential, otherwise you'd be allowed to go about it..... ;-)
