We’ve hit the owners for a million pounds by not renewing. It will hopefully provide a much needed wake up call to them that we won’t settle for their bullshit nor will we happily cough up no matter what they do.

 

Like you I do not live in Bradford any longer but come across to see family as well as watch the football. Here I was born and this is the club I shall support. It was hard work in the second half of last season, mind you. I give the management one more choice of coach, two more transfer windows and the team one more season to pull it round.

 

If those who haven't renewed were all adults (which they're not) it would be £845k, and then the increase in price, not hit them nowhere near a million.

 

How would you have done things differently just out of interest (based on your undoubted vast experience of running a football club in your (what i presume from your name) 26 years on this earth)? Not sacked McCall? Not hired Grayson? I get that results havent worked out but I hardly think they are clowns. They have a clear strategy, have been honest about it (youth first) and have stuck to it.

Its very easy to criticise when things go wrong. They werent clowns last year at Wembley were they?

Everyone needs to take a breather. Grayson didnt deliver and his demands were obviously ridiculous. Forcing these owners out wont improve our situation so lets see where we are in a few months eh and stop overreacting like 5 years old.

No you're right. Something must be done immediately or we're irreversibly doomed arent we. I mean if something isn't done today you can write off the next half century of bradford city football club.

Or even better you could just pre-emptively write off any decision that the chairmen take if that makes you feel better. Id actually prefer to judge them objectively based on their next move, but then I don't think I have the same model of crystal ball that you have.

They surprised us with the grayson appointment and they may just surprise us positively again. Of course they may not. In which case ill judge them at that point.

It never ends. Its just a perpetual motion thingy of false optimism and abject failure all mixed up in the thing thats called a football club. History proves this every season. Sometimes its our club and sometimes it isn't. I can deal with that clearly you can't.

 

I'm just so frustrated at watching 5 years hard work from Parky, Lawn & Rhodes go to pot.

I am waiting to see who is the next manager/coach before deciding how I feel about our prospects

 

I have renewed , i too travel a long way to " home ' games , unhappy at the pantomime at VP . Whether i attend all home games this season is open at the moment, but being a lifelong supporter i would never not get a ST . I hope all the doom and gloom predictions are way off the mark . The board have messed up big time in my honest opinion , a lot of bridges need rebuilding between the club and the fans, will the board do this ? . I'm not sure , whatever happens the club is bigger than any individual's.

 

I am waiting to see how we actually do the field before any judging I remember cursing when Terry Dolan and Stan Ternant were appointee they didn’t do to bad did they I remember being excited about Peter Taylor being appointed permanent managed that wasn’t to great was it. I hope the new guy whoever it is will be given time before the criticism starts. And same with any new signings

Apart from at most half a dozen clubs in the PL & EFL are feeder clubs.
Try watching a club that produces the likes of Rio, Lampard, Carrick, Joey Cole, Defoe, Ince, etc. to see them get sold on to bigger clubs
