Yes apparently the terms of the first admin were always going to be difficult to maintain, but as you say Gibb wanted to try and honour it.

I was wondering if the club would be open to run some events on an evening. Similar to what the support groups/trusts do but for people who aren't associated to them. Try get that supporter & club bond back. Mix it up with different players, club officials etc.

Obviously difficult with it coming up to Summer though I suspect they might be an open day at VP in the summer? I remember we had one a few years back with Mark Lawn and the players etc.

 

I take it that nothing is happening re next seasons shirts. A missed opportunity?

Can not actually remember when we did that previously? Think there are restrictions now on changing kit mid season

 

A club can apply to wear one 'special' kit during a season, hence why some premier league clubs play their last match in new shirts etc. And the last time I can think of city doing anything similar, is when they played in the vintage 1911 fa cup top a few year back. Would be a good idea though

 

Is that the league rules or written into the contracts for the shirt manufacturer and sponsors? As it would have to be allowed by the contracts for all sponsors/manufacturer and league rules

 

Just had a quick look and the rules say you have to wear you home colours in all home matches but you can wear your away or alternative kit at home for one game. So that would be our away and third kit rather than a different one

 

@wetherbywhaler @Glenn Ackroyd more of a question than a suggestion, but do we know if plans are afoot for a reintroduction of the reserve team next year, its been badly missed this year with no opportunity for those not in the side to stay match fit

 

Now that the season is at an end, in the next couple of weeks, there is a head of department meeting to go through plans for summer and next season when the topics that you've referred to will be included.

A fans forum event is included in that discussion. I'd like to get one fixed up before the start of next season and it will be an evening.

 

There will be a new kit launched in the next few weeks. I'm not sure on the exact timing but it's likely to be sometime in June.

 

I don't know what Bowyer's plans are. I don't have any involvement in footballing affairs.

 

Will that be an open invitation to fans or will it only be for the of members from various supporters branch's and the likes of the fans trust.

The club is working at all levels to increase fan engagement

• Monthly Meeting with the Community Trust (which includes Disability, Ladies and LGBT).
• Looking to have local fans forums with Supporter Groups
• Holding monthly Supporters Board meetings
• Holding open fans forums to all fans at the club
• Engaging on forums (like now )

There will be more details of other initiatives which will be announced over summer.
