    It's alright, not as terrible as some are making out imo.

    I would've preferred them to have made a few different designs and put it to a vote however.

    While it solves some of the issues with the current one it still has one of the biggest issues and that's the dimensions, especially when including the star. If the star is essential to people (to me including a star when you either as a club you haven't won the Champions League or as a nation, the World Cup is a big desperate) they should have included inside the shield. TBH they could have made the shield a little wider and been able to include the BC without the C being smaller, the AFC and the Star and sorted the dimensions issue

    To be fair logo design when ideally you want that logo to be able to be reproduced in all sorts of different mediums, especially when it comes to merch is difficult. You need it to be fairly simple in design, in a limited number of colours (at most 6 but the fewer the better) and the colours being used all to be distinct which does then limit what you can do with it

    Survey opens at 5 for all fans to give their opinions and thoughts on the new branding proposal. Got a feeling this badge will live as long as the Leeds fist badge from a few years back.

    I get that badges these days are toned down for branding and merch to make it easier and simple. But there can be some design elements. This looks so naff, not even poorly designed just naff and uninspiring. I'd be shocked if this took more than an hour to create. Hopefully on the survey they can list some of the other pitched badges, would love to see what this beat out.

    I have had the misfortune to be inviolved in lots of re-branding exercises in a work setting. The best you can say is it is OK and not really that important unless you are a marketing or PR person! Lets move on to more important things.

    You would most likely get sued to do anything remotely similar though. There are some things which are common enough that you can get away with taking inspiration but that's distinct enough that they would go out of their way to protect it. It does look great though.

    The font on your new one looks worse the more you look at it, there is a conflict in style to the point it feels like they had 3 different designers do it, one who did the shield, one the text and the other the Bantam. It needs a different font and maybe more rounded edges on the shield to make it seem more modern and consistent

    I'll reword it for fear of being sued by the French rugby league, something similar to their design. No silly crest or circle or rhombus just a modern simple chicken and either the letters bcafc or bradford city underneath.

    I like. Whilst I love our colours I always think our crest looks a bit cheap on clothing / gear (unless embroidered on) whereas (going against the masses here) I think this would work.
