I honestly don’t. I think, like all football gear it would look cheap if it was 4 inch high on a hoody or polo, but if it was a little pin badge sized embroidered on a top I think it’d look good.
Same with the current badge - or any football badge, looks crap unless discreet.

It looks much better in use on products/social media than it does as a standalone badge, which is fair enough if that was the objective.

Can somebody, in layman's terms, explain what is the lead looking thing from the back of the head to the torso?

Overall I don't mind it but the BCAFC needs work as the small C just looks rubbish. Personally I'm not a fan of either the shield or the star but, given the overwhelming support for both in the previous survey, they won't change. I suspect the BCAFC layout will get tweaked and then it will go ahead looking 90% similar to what they've issued today. It's not the end of the world.

I think the different size letters is the epitome of cheap.
Like a kid writing a sentence and realising they’ve left a letter out so they put a smaller version in instead.

All the mock ups have it with a simple flat ‘iron on’ style logo. The ones which peel off, crack, or you burn if you iron it. I like a small discreet logo, something akin to that you get on Fred Perry/Ralph Lauren/Gant/Lyle & Scott, T-Shirt/Polo shirt which is embroidered. Not sure this will readily work. Neutral about it.

On our current badge the star is embarassing.

On the new badge the whole thing is embarassing.

    In a way, that's progress.

To be honest I can't get worked up about the club badge one way or another. As long as it isn't offensive in any way I can't get interested in the details.
Kits and colours a different matter.

Awful looks like a badge you'd see on a primary schools uniform. Bring back the board head

Oh blimey no! The font looks so clumsy with the small C. The bantam (I presume that’s what it is, because they’ve removed the nickname) looks like a mutated Velociraptor. Definitely looks like a clip art mock up a teenage fan has created. It’s a NO from me.

We've sold a record number of shirts this season with the current badge and commercial sales figures are high. So what exactly is the new design going to achieve?

It’s interesting in all those behind the scene photos, that there’s no mock up with different lettering/sizes. Especially as this seems to be the first thing ppl don’t like. I’d like to be given options to choose from, not just “like it/don’t like it”.

I actually quite like and think it did need an update.

Personally I would've got rid of the letters altogether as they don't really add anything and there's possible confusion with other clubs, but would've kept 'Bantams' in some format. I do actually really like the different lettering sizes, I think it looks really good in contrast to the lettering we currently have which is uniform but looks really naff.

The bantam is an improvement on the one we currently have imho, as are the dimensions.

My main question is how would this look in different colours / on a white / black background? Logos these days need to be instantly recognisable in different colours. Will have to wait and see on this one I guess.
