Just another example. Bradford has a very large Muslim population who I would imagine Mr Rupp wants to tap into and encourage them to support the local football team. But Ryan Sparks seem determined to try and alienate them by promoting views not all are comfortable with. The best way to be inclusive is not to offend ANYONE.

 

Yet you're happy to suggest people's sexuality makes people uncomfortable?

If you're going to make a fake account to play the morality card at least be consistent and other than that, if you've got a genuine point to make, either take a crap or get off the pot!

 

I'm not uncomfortable with it but Ryan Sparks is using the City badge to promote sexual practices that billions of people attached to the major religions do have an issue with. Are they to be ignored? Don't they matter? People like Sparks are in positions in schools, the media, sport etc to push specific agendas. Ask yourself why is it only LGBTQ people that get special attention. Sparks may like drag queens in primary schools etc. Good for him. But he should not be alienating fans. He's not up to the job quite frankly. I've heard directors at other clubs have a nickname for him and it does not reflect well on Bradford City.

 

Bet you complained at the club opening the prayer room as well as the club should keep out of stuff like religion

Bummer! This was turning into an interesting Saturday morning read. 6:30, coffee, Forest v Scousers on Telly and and what sounded like one of my neighbours banging on. Next he’ll be trying to have certain books banned from schools.

Why would you not agree with equality? Time to got rid of the poppy as we shouldn't be shoving that in people's faces.

What about the innocent people killed in Ireland and around the world by the British Army? Can't pick and choose what we remember.

I can accept that point of view OGF but I think there's levels and it's obviously a much bigger debate than one that's ever happening in a football forum so probably best to leave it there and concentrate on the match

 

There will always be past conflicts that we can use as examples unfortunately when you join the armed forces you put your life on the line for whatever the cause no matter what we think is right or wrong as individuals, I don't see why the fallen should not be remembered for sacrificing their lives in combat on Remembrance Sunday by the wearing of the poppy.

 

Meanwhile, what of the new club crest?
