I don’t know why B is in two colours?

 

What sort of design company can be taken seriously coming up with those? All this nonsense, just keep the old badge FFS.

 

Agreed. I think most will vote for the old one. Wether or not the club take that into consideration or not, is another matter.

 

B without a shield is by far the best of a bad bunch. I get the feeling more and more that the club really aren't too committed to this rebranding, otherwise they still wouldn't be offering the old badge as an option.

I get that they wanted the fans on board, but all the fans will vote for, especially a fan base like ours is what they know. They voted for the shield to stay, the bantam to stay, the lettering to stay..... so they had to design a badge with the exact same detailing we already had. It was always going to have crap offerings if you have to use exactly what you had before. If they were serious about rebranding, then commit to it and give something actually different, rather than just tweaks of what already exists.

Have to say,for me,the current badge is the best of the latest offerings.

 

I kinda like B, but will the bantam be white or claret? Why show both colours? I’m guessing white, as it stands out more. If so, then I’m voting C. I never liked it when we wore white shorts, and this would be the same to me

 

The bantam is certainly better than the first attempt but it just a doesn’t work with the crest at all . Liverpool have a simplistic badge . I’d rather us go with what city vent have just tweeted if we are changing

Can you show the folk who aren’t on Elons rollercoaster, the city vent badge?

 

Personally and being old school I prefer the original version. The reason being that whilst the new offerings look more like labels, only the existing looks like a BADGE! I'm all for updating trends but in this instance we seem to be veering away from the dignity and 'prescence' radiating from the former.

 

It’s just the one I posted above tal , release the bantam from the cage and it might just work

 

The ball needs adjusting to make it look like a football mind and not sure that text is the best it can be but think from a 100 percent no to change it might have just grown on me

 

Nothing to do with opinion. It just seems we have a fan base like ours who seem to fear any kind of change, nevermind accepting a change when they have a voice on it. Even this far into trying a passing it on the deck style, we have people crying for a 442 hoof ball to happen after a few draws. Mention moving from Manningham and people cant even wrap heir head around it. Sparks even said himself our average age of a season ticket holder is in their late 50s.... do you know many late 50s who embrace change?

They gave the fans a choice of what to keep, unsurprisingly they wanted to keep every detailing of the badge, because people don't like a vote on change. Feel for the designer to be honest..... "we'd like a completely new badge for a rebrand, but it has to keep all this unique badge, animal and lettering, but make it look new please".

I agree. But to make it more “football like” it perhaps would contain too many lines, and make the overall look a bit busy?
