    Some of the issues with it are potentially due to the feedback. You just have to look at the BCAFC lettering, the survey said they didn't want it but they say that the listening sessions kept holding the BCAFC in high regard. Including it just highlights them trying to balance too many opinions and ultimately then not pleasing anyone. If they hadn't consulted fans they might actually have come up with something more acceptable to the masses.

    Manchester United fan, if so its understandable got their arses kicked by City then scraped through against the Cypriot giants Omonia Nicosia, it can't be easy living close to their noisy neighbours when you've won nowt for years over 5 years.

    How is pointing out that the logo doesn't have the recognition to override issues with the design patronising? Very few clubs have that in England. Even Newcastle which someone mentioned doesn't have that, in fact the one they used in the late 70's early 80s is both more modern looking and easier to incorporate into the modern digital age where merchandising and branding are important and actually incorporated elements that much more iconic to the club (The castle and the Magpie). Including things like seahorses from the city crest really doesn't exactly jump to mind when you think of Newcastle United.

    And there are people who are acting as if the current one has a long-term legacy to it so doesn't need to be changed. Until the 90s you had only had a bantam on the badge for a couple of seasons. A Boars head has more of a legacy. There is a difference between not liking the proposed design and being against a rebrand totally for legacy reasons

    I called those two people brain-dead for a valid reason. That's because they choose to try and belittle me by ignoring every point but ONE of my examples of where the logo causes issues in the modern world so they could sit there and act like the current logo is fine and I'm making petty arguments as to why a rebrand is needed so should be ignored. I didn't call anyone else debating with me brain-dead because they are actually debating

    Fair point. We have had a say, though. Perhaps that's part of the problem - design by committee. Trying to please as many feedback points as possible. And there's still an opportunity to have a say.

    The Blackburn Rovers badge is imo pretty perfect. It has their name. It has the town motto. It has their colours. It has the Lancashire red rose. It has the date of their foundation. It contains all the ingredients to establish identity. Pretty much everything our present proposal doesn't have.
