This is Ryan's legacy we're talking about.

He and the commercial team need something solid on their CV's that isn't just "hired Mark Hughes, crossed our fingers" lol

 

Very dodgy the way they're wording the post. This has not been a good look for the club from the off. The club have been getting so much right but decide to bring a divisive topic into the picture. The new badge looks awful no point beating around the bush with it. Massive own goal from everyone involved at the club if this goes ahead.

 

The club can't force the other 17000 to respond to the survey.
If they felt that strongly either way, they'd find the time to do it.

You sound a very bitter man @Areyoureadingthisedin with regards Ryan any particular reason why ?, you can share your amongst friends.
Do you fancy a £10 BBU bet with regards Ryan being gone in the New Year, I say he won't.

 

If the club had put it out to all supporters as in flyers at the ground or advertised it around the ground on match days then i'm sure the response would have been better. All they did was post about it on social media and not everyone uses social media, i certainly don't. I only found out about it on this forum and i'm sure at least 30% of our supporters won't even know about the change.
The club have been very sneaky and underhand about this. Even the survey is heavily loaded towards the new crest, i mean 4 of the 5 questions were yes to the change answers, it's no wonder the results are what they are.

 

Its not a problem sitting next to someone,its having the whole thing thrown in my face as though i ought to agree with it.

 

I can see this point of view. My brother is gay and his view is he just wants to get on with his life. This whole pride thing irks him to a degree.

 

Voted C, no idea what anyone would see in the first two. The text and stripes in the shield looks like something from clip art.

 

I might be a heretic but I don’t give a damm about the club crest. But let’s face it the bantam is a small chicken so a complete rebrand would be better. Imagine the outcry

Isn't the priority on field success?

I mean, you can have all the fancy advertising boards you want but if we're in the conference North with vastly reduced crowds there's not that many going to want to advertise unless it's at a heavily reduced rate.

However if there was an option with a crab
That would be appropriate to our current style and would get my vote

 

Ultimately this has been a poorly handled waste of money.

Once the club committed to changing the crest, they should've stuck to it and not offered the current badge as an option. But then again, they paid the price for some truly awful designs and were put to shame by amateurs on twitter.

 

In your opinion, what do you think of this one? Ticks the circular box, but the actual image is awful imo.

 

I'm not really sure how I feel about rebranding the club badge.

The current one is pretty ugly and an awkward shape, but I'd be disappointed if we went to a cookie cutter circular logo... Everyone's doing that.

Also, I wouldn't really want us going for a simplistic bantam like in the 1903 logo. It just ends up looking like clip art.

However i wouldn't lose any sleep over it. But it would be nice to see a design that exceeded expectations before a decision was made in that regard.
