He was definitely on course for scoring over twenty and if were signing him now I think most people would be happy

Vaughan and Donaldson got Bowyered mate. Bowyer was an awful manager here.

Adam Chickson anyone? Bright young fullback who can play in a number of positions across the field.
Tyrell Robinson anyone? Bright young winger who can play full back or in a more attacking role (now he's an INSIDE forward).
Danny Devine anyone? Hard working local lad who can play any position he wants, but still can't get in the team.
Neil Mellor anyone? Versatile defender who can play right back and also defensive midfield.
    Shall I go on?`

Anyway, as I promised myself this season, I am not slagging anyone off until Ive seen them play. Good look to the lad. Anyone who chooses the middle name Levi over his actual first name of Jack, must have a bit of swagger. Either that, or the name Levi runs through his genes. I'll get my (denim) coat....

He might have been but that wasn't what Everton bought him for. By that stage he was a top level potential central midfielder. I'm not a fan of buying players who, by the age of 23, is thought of a s a full back and /or midfielder. Under Parky we knew what our players did and the positions they were good at.

Robinsons problem was he wasn't good enough as an out and out winger or a full back, his natural attributes lend me more as a wing back. Or back on the nonce wing as he now finds himself.

Exactly. Another play who didn't have an outright position.
Devine was played everywhere - defensive mid, right back, even left back. Chicksen the same. Perhaps its the managers fault. McCall himself started off as right back, but once he was given a chance in midfield, he held that position down and made it his own. Something Chicksen, Devine, Robinson and Mellor never did.

True but he did play McMahon on the wing and occasionally McCardle at full back with Sutton it all depends on whether he is a decent footballer or not . We will only know when we see him play

McCardle was a terrible full back, I've seen milk turn quicker. McMahon another one who we had to fit into a position to take advantage of his set pieces. He wasn't the same level a right back as Darby and at times we had better right side options.

Whilst I agree about McCardle I thought McMahon was a key player for both Parky and Stuart. For Parky he provided most of the ammunition for the forwards and for Stuart he was the link player whilst I liked Darby passion I think McMahon was a better player

McMahon has indeed played at a higher level so has merit to being the better player but Darby was the better full back. What McCall did and Parky was realise what McMahons strengths are and played to it. His set pieces and corners were a supply of most of the assists at one time.

I don't think so either. Tranmere perhaps?
