    Why are you simply so stuck in a 'spend spend spend' mindset? Can you tell me how on earth we can compete with, now, the likes of Sunderland? (average wage about £30K per week - so can easily pay £10K in this division)

    What is your plan? It seems to be buying players with 100% cast iron guarantee of giving us a return immediately. Well, those players, i.e. Dack, Bell, Grigg, Roberts, etc cost money and wages

    Peterborough, who seem to be always competing fairly well and could arguably be viewed as L1's most 'entertaining' club since their 2013 relegation, don't have much problem taking decent talent from the non-leagues, Championship reserves, L2 and molding them. It however, requires a bit of patience as Marriot and Maddison are examples

    Even Premiership teams take players from divisions below them

    Why have we got to be so different?

    And what's your great plan?

    Just because so far McCartan has only shown glimpses, you don't give up on the policy. Any transfer, including going for seasoned pro's are always a gamble. Anderson is a great one that Park pointed out, because at the time he seemed ideal and had Ipswich fans criticising Mick McCarthy for letting him go

    But instead of sarcastic comments from the sidelines, what's your great plan?

    Exactly, McCarten is a very good player in my view. We have not seen the best of him yet, but we have seen glimpses of what he can do. These thing do take time, next season he suddenly fits into the team and starts producing. We sell him and somebody else gets the benefit. We are famous for that!

    Shay McCarten was being watched by numerous teams before we signed him both here and Scotland. And the only player including Wyke who attracted interest in January

    Ricc's probably one of those who criticised us going for the then non-league Gregory and thanked the lord that Millwall got him

    And we can see how badly that turned out for them

    We will sell him because he isn't good for Bradford City.

    If he does good somewhere else then good look to him but for Bradford City he has been an utter disappointment.

    Joined overweight, doesn't create, hardly scores and can't get into the team.

    I'm not sure how anyone can call Shay McCartan a 'very good player' or 'shite'. The only thing I would say about him is he certainly doesn't look like a £200,000 player at the moment.
