Should have just bought a ticket for the top tier then sat in the bottom tier.

Well we’ve played Stockport twice now and could’ve should’ve beaten them on both occasions so it’s 4 points dropped in my opinion.

No I read it as you posted it "Stockport are a bang average team" and "that we should have beaten twice" I find it difficult to see how you come to that conclusion, 5 points clear of second with a goal difference of 29 goals and their bang average.
Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda, City fans would say Cook missed a penalty, where as County fans would say Ben Hinchliffe saved a penalty at Edgeley Park, last night a draw was a fair result in those conditions I'd think most fair minded people (bar Dave Challinor) would agree who saw the game, not sure why we deserve to win the game in all honesty ?.
So your argument has nothing to do with the new manager and how we have performed under him, maybe if Alexander had been here from the start of this season we would have been up with them unfortunately that was not the case, this is where we stood with regards Alexanders first game in charge : 7 points off a play off place, here is how we stand now : 4 points off a play off place.
I can't disagree with your comment with regards our summer recruitment and totally agree if Hughes had just strengthened where we needed strengthening we might have been in a far better position and Mark Hughes would maybe still in the job but have a little faith in what Alexander is doing and has achieved so far during his short time at Valley Parade.
It may turn out to be "new manager bounce" time will tell but let's hope in the short time Alexander has been at the club he knows who he doesn't want to keep with regards the second half of the season and has been working along side Gent to bring in players who could give us the edge in the next 22 games.

PS. Last nights game extended Stockport’s run to just one defeat in their last 20 games, bang average.

I agree and I also agree that the point against Stockport isn't a bad one. I don't think I've ever said differently to be fair.

 

I deserted last night due to the fact that I had family up from down south and I have travelled twice to Bradford with pitch inspections and no match. So it was I follow for me. Had there been a mechanism where they could have sold my seat I would have used it

 

In the grand scheme of things,a point against the league leaders is nothing to sniff at. Could we have taken all 3 if not for Hinchliffe? No doubt, but again its progress and that is the main thing. Who thought we would have a realistic shot at the playoffs going into January when looking at us pre GA? I sure the heck didn't. Hopefully we can strengthen somewhat in this upcoming window and really make a push for them, only 4 points back.

Some fans don’t make a decision on whether to go until the last moment, especially midweek matches when the weather is bad. So notifying club of planned non attendance isn’t a practical thing to introduce in reality.

silverbantam’s suggestion was a good one - just buy any free seat, even in upper tier, and sit in a free one after everyones sat down for KO?!
