We have the same players that MH had and GA has got them working hard and collectively. Like you say lot's to be positive about.

46 draws keeps you unbeaten and probably gets you relegated.

23 wins and 23 defeats leaves you on 69 points and despite losing half of your games you're potentially in with a shout of promotion.

 

I was a little disappointed in Oduor having to go deeper and deeper to get the ball, I thought first 10/15 minutes he looked like he could be the answer to not having Walker fit.

 

Odour was blowing out of his arris for the last 20 and cramped up towards full time. Thought Pointon would have been a reasonable replacement at that stage. In the games I have seen both are creative players and cause defences some trouble.

 

As you know others have been reprimanded for what they have been posting, I accept its a football forum where fans will have a difference of opinions one individual games but for whatever reason this guy seems to enjoy the attention with regards his posts which are beyond belief with there negativity.

 

I didn't think I needed to add any context to our recent unbeaten run as you well know how many wins and draws are in there. So what you are arguing above is meaningless because what you allude cannot happen to us this season which is what I am commenting on.

 

I'm equally positive but those 8 are not all in the league are they? Regardless, I think any questions regarding are promotion credentials will be answered over the next 4 or 5 games. It's a very kind set of fixtures and if we can keep our form then I'll be very optimistic. I'm certainly liking our performances at the moment.

 

I think you’ve took my post out of context. Stockport are a bang average team and yes they are running away with the league which makes our position even more disappointing.
My point is that we could / should be up there with them as the standard of league 2 in general is poor this season and it highlights how bad the recruitment was in the summer which massively weakened us from what we had last season.
I truly believe last seasons team with a couple of improvements would have pissed this league.

What's the loss of not having 5k purchasing food/drinks etc??
In future can when demand requires, season ticket holders inform the club if not attending and someone can purchase a ticket in a good seat??

Plenty surrounds why people decide not to turn up and in turn it affects the club/other supporters.

 

Exactly this! Last season we rarely lost but we simply didn’t win enough. Too many home draws which might have pleased the ‘we’re unbeaten’ brigade but ultimately it cost us promotion last year. End of debate

I had this exact conversation. On Friday afternoon there was not a single ticket could be purchased in the lower sunwin and a friend of mine wanted to sit in there to meet up with some other friends.
Lo and behold the stand on the night was littered with empty seats.
If you don’t want to attend or cannot attend then inform the club that they can re-sell your seat.

if it’s too much effort to ring the club then maybe the app should offer this facility.

 

What matters is the REPORTED number of ticket sales and amounts including season tickets which was ? And how does that tie up with my ESTIMATION of the reported figure?
Section 6 Finance of the EFL handbook gives guidance . I can’t see why the crowd number is even a debate when all clubs follow the same rules. Additional commercial activity isn’t factored in .
