I get it… but come on! He's picking the wrong players, the wrong formations, horrible tactics and alienating our young talent like Pointon and Wilson.

Give McDonald the job until the summer and start again. New manager, new CEO and hopefully, a new owner but probably not

We are in a mess. I’m losing all believe that GA is going to be any better than the rest of them. Basic tactics seem beyond us now and he doesn’t seem to have an answer. It might be a case of too many players to pick from that he doesn’t know what to do with them. Those with contracts ending in the summer have clearly given up, knowing there’s little chance of being retained.

 

That’s me done for the season now. I’ll probably renew my ST (heart over head), but those three defeats have done me for this year.

 

It won’t be anywhere near that next season!

To renew my family’s season tickets next year is going to cost nearly £1,000. I’m not sure I can justify that cost for what the club is continuing to serve up year on year.

 

We are in free fall at the moment and to arrest that fall will take investment. Rapidly falling income, bloated squad on high long term contracts, richer more organised clubs all around and clubs from the national league with money to burn. All point to an outcome I doubt we'll recover from.
Next seasons recruitment will be based purely on free transfers and ageing players. We can't afford to buy the players needed to progress. Players will look and see this club is heading in the wrong direction and won't want to take the risk. A clean sweep is required and then probably a season or two for the new owners plans to take effect. Obviously dependent on a willing seller and buyer scenario.

It really is difficult to see where the next win will come from. Maybe playing away will help. Away from the poor pitch and pressures of Valley Parade.

 

This is what happens when you have unqualified, inexperienced leadership with no industry knowledge running a football club.

It's a recipe for disaster!

 

It's also interesting that the mocking of the "bovine slurry" site has now stopped as the silent majority are probably more accepting that they actually had very valid points so those years ago.

 

Just need to find a way to win. Pinball in the six yard box and knocked in off someone's arse is all that's needed.

The last two matchdays have had favourable results for us. We need to keep winning like Walsall.

I can't be doing with a draw or loss and then reading umpteen posts of "still only 5 points away". In these next 3 or 4 matches we'll see a few of these teams hanging on to the playoffs suddenly drop off. We need to keep winning. Nothing to be gained from a draw.

 

Tbf, Ridehalgh is a steady 6/10 full back. Never a wingback in a million years. And never found wanting for effort and attitude

 

Is this the stadium that is owned three ways Town , Giants and Kirklees council, That has a championship football club a super league club and council imput, that has hosted premier league football within the past five years, and all the money that now brings, is around 30 years old, but in need of maintenance that the 3 share holders can not agree who pays for it.

Getting battered now. Haven’t come out this half with any fight at all. Alexander nowhere to be seen and the players have given up. I’m actually disgusted at how bad this is.
