Disagree, loads of shithole areas have decent investment in their clubs.

If you wonder why then look no further than our esteemed owner who values the club at £10 million, look at what the other clubs went for and get back to me. We could buy the stadium back and the club plus have a little to spend on the squad, if he sold for a realistic valuation line theirs. I mentioned £1 million the other day, because that is literally what we are worth, big stadium that isn’t ours or not.

A lot of our fans have either been very naive or didn't want to admit the obvious, but the intelligent ones amongst us have seen the writing on the wall for a long time. And most of shot down for daring to be negative when all we were doing were pointing what we are actually witnessing now was going to happen. I take no pleasure in being right because it was obvious to anyone with a modicum of brain power. I feel no ill will to those who chose to stick their heads in the sand, I just now you can see what this club actually is at this moment in time. The people in charge of this club have no right to be in the positions they have, an owner for showing no interest and employing a CEO who should never have been anywhere near the position. The rest is merely a by product of that.
    Sad times.

Their club is owned by a billionaire who funded its way into and probably back into the Premier League. We are owned by a millionaire who no longer wishes to “ invest “ in the club. That’s a huge mis - comparison.

Fordy's has been the most vocal for years. I dont like personnel arguments and shouting and correcting from everyone but has been right all along.

This is what happens when you have unqualified, inexperienced leadership with no industry knowledge running a football club.

    It's a recipe for disaster!

It is reminiscent of Pravda at its height. Undoubtedly the glorious leaders of the Club have hit their 5 year target! Ignore the detail…..look at the proud figures!**so funny

Well said. I've been in that camp, accused of being overly critical or negative, even taking joy in it. Nothing is further from the truth. I've wanted to be wrong all along. Some of the happiest memories of my life involve this club. It's heartbreaking to see what's happening to the club, and the city.

And also very dangerous with dickheads stood in the middle of the road waving large flags and the usual double parking and abandoned cars.

It's my own fault I suppose for driving that way, I really should have learnt by now.

It's also interesting that the mocking of the "bovine slurry" site has now stopped as the silent majority are probably more accepting that they actually had very valid points so those years ago.

I hoped after Wycombe that we’d see some consistency (injuries allowing) with the team selection, but GA seemed to put square pegs in round holes (Oduor). He’s continued along that vein for the subsequent home matches we’ve played. That Wycombe match was the best we’ve seen this season and should be the blueprint going forward. Unfortunately I don’t see Cook fitting into style of play because he doesn’t have the skill set and pace to do so. Find a better way to keep Cook scoring then all well and good, but it will come at a cost of others getting on the scoresheet regularly in my opinion.

At one point in the second half we had no fewer than SEVEN of the team playing a role that would be considered out of position.

Ridehalgh, (a left back playing CB)
Oyegoke, (a right back/RWB playing CB)
Richards, (a left sided centre half at Wolves playing LWB)
Halliday, (a right back playing RWB)
Chapman, (a winger playing CM and CAM)
Walker, (cam or winger, played deep alongside Smallwood)
Smith. (Striker, ended up on the wing).

That's all despite having an apparently "bloated" squad.

GA absolutely has to take the responsibility for these selections, regardless of how we feel about the club hierarchy.

Hire those pesky Just Stop Oil protesters, hate the buggers, but they generate publicity

I agree, Complacency and the club keeps relying on the fan base but the fans will get wise and stop coming. They want to look at the clubs fan-base history, Im knocking on a bit now but I remember in the past there being below 1000 fans at some games and the club having to apply for re-election to the football league. What would happen to the club if that was repeated, obviously the younger fans wont remember that.

The only protests should be lawful ones such as to turn up in massive numbers but stay outside the ground peacefully. It would generate publicity. Or arrange a co-ordinated and prolonged "Sparks Out" chant on a set time (Rupp out would be no good as he won't be there) This allows a protest without breaking the law (which pitch invasions, tennis balls etc would).

Letters & E-mails will be ignored.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if he didn't turn up for the next home match, because he has no bottle.
