A lot of our fans have either been very naive or didn't want to admit the obvious, but the intelligent ones amongst us have seen the writing on the wall for a long time. And most of shot down for daring to be negative when all we were doing were pointing what we are actually witnessing now was going to happen. I take no pleasure in being right because it was obvious to anyone with a modicum of brain power. I feel no ill will to those who chose to stick their heads in the sand, I just now you can see what this club actually is at this moment in time. The people in charge of this club have no right to be in the positions they have, an owner for showing no interest and employing a CEO who should never have been anywhere near the position. The rest is merely a by product of that.
    Sad times.

Only the insecure are embarrassed by rain failing and a football match postponed. You might be embarrassed , I ain’t . Annoyed the weather has ruined a game day yes , “embarrassment” is for the birds!

I mentioned earlier today. Colchester , relatively new ground, purpose built , flat level ground, top quality foundations, plenty of grass enough to embarrass a golf course and their game was postponed due to waterlogged playing surface. Care to explain why they aren’t as embarrassed as you claim you are?

Can't bear this anymore. Another depressing three hour journey back home spending money I can ill afford and for me, that's that. After 50 years of supporting City I'm going into hibernation and won't wake up until the club do. With a new owner who'll buy the ground back and put a proper football regime in charge. So I may be asleep for a long time. This is all beyond shit show. National League within three years.

Kiwomya is by far the least of Bradford City’s worries right now

feck me I don’t know whether to laugh, cry, scream or what. The last 3 home games have been absolutely horrendous, devoid of a plan, leadership, ideas, effort, passion, fight, work ethic, a backbone….the problems are endless

For me, it is a holistic thing. The set up. The domino theory, one thing knocks into the other.

    • The deteriorating state of the stadium.
    • The pitch.
    • The players-styles-ability-age-attitude-psychology-fitness-incompatibility.
    • The constant changing of managers.
    • Some of the supporters attitude-eventual fatigue with the performance.
    • The management struggling.
    • The ticket system.
    • The increase ‘now’ in the price of Season Tickets.
    • Transport-parking etc
    • The none playing management team.
    • The recruitment strategy.
    • Long contracts for some questionable players.
    • An an absentee owner, who demonstrates little understanding and/or empathy.
    • An identity which is floating away.
    • The state of the City itself.
I am sure others could add onto this list. In reality this is not becoming a perfect storm.

I think I may have mentioned in the Barrow thread. I had a talk with Pete Wild at Barrow last week, he had been to watch us against Wycombe and said although our pitch didn't look great he was impressed by how it played. "Good bounce and running true across the surface", was how he described it. "The proof was in the way Bradford played some great stuff". Conclusion of that is looks don't always matter as a few other pitches I've seen in the last few weeks attest. Wild said Salford was by far the worst he's seen this season.
I'm hearing VP has improved since Wycombe so we will see. We need to put this lot away and repeat on Tuesday.

It's also time to start reporting the actual attendance. We are being ridiculed on social.media, everyone knows the figures are lies.

And don't argue that the actual tickets sold needs to be reported for hmrc, they haven't a clue what the breakdown of each attendance is in price of ticket and really don't care.

The only figure that matters to them is total income for the year.

The lies about the attendances, and they are lies, are there so David Brent can lie to Rupp about what a good job he's doing.

Here's the news Sparks, you might be fooling Rupp but you aren't fooling the rest of football and your lies are making us look stupid.

I didn’t watch tonight. I genuinely couldn’t do it as feared what I’ve just seen would be the outcome. The starting XI offered my little hope and when I suspiciously logged onto iFollow at 10mins in to see how we were doing, I was switching off within 3 mins. Now I’ve just seen the result, am I surprised??

Cannot comment on the performance, but scanning this thread it reads like FGR and Mansfield part III.

City will always be my team, but the club right now is becoming almost unrecognisable.

Great CEO's recognize issues and how they can ensure that failure isn't likely, move to plug all the gaps, give the managers beneath them whatever they need (within financial reason), and that includes both time and space, as well as a fair start by giving them a job that's possible in the first place.

Terrible CEO's, like Ryan, fail to recognize the issues, don't target areas for improvement beyond what they already want to do, won't give the managers beneath them a fair start (ie, "Dear Graham, please pick up the pieces after I sacked Hughes, these aren't at all the players you would have wanted, and no, the transfer window isn't open either - GOOD LUCK!"), and will simply convince themselves that having a mantra like "failure is not an option" is actually a strategy when it's just meaningless words.

You can't wish success into existence. You can't talk it into reality. You can't promise what you can't deliver. What people like Ryan can do, though, for the good of this particular football club is hand his notice in on Wednesday morning.

I came on here last night to vent my anger/hurt/frustration/disgruntlement etc etc but I’m completely dumbfounded at this point by what is going on.

This is the lowest point the club has been in during my 30 years of support (first match 1995)

Even the last time we were languishing this low circa 15 years ago, the club didn’t feel as soulless or as doomed as it does now.

    This is heartbreaking

The pictures of the sparse crowd at kick-off, backed off to the worst pitch in the EFL, are truly sad to see. A reflection of our demise and comprehensive mismanagement. And anyone who can't see it, is part of the problem.

You'd have a point if the amount of home games that were postponed actually matched the amount of home games that you claim are about to be postponed in the week leading up to them!

It's not embarrassing it's off, but it is embarrassing the club put out a statement at 11am saying the pitch was playable and there were no plans for a pitch inspection. It is these kinds of things that piss people off and make us look tinpot.

I saw the thread you started about the future, but l guess this post straddles both issues. My last friend who actually lived in the old city of Bradford, moved out just over 10 years ago. We use to go out in town for a beer/curry every few months. The final destination was the Nee Beehive, a curry in the Sheesh Mahl and a taxi. However a lot of the places in Bradford have closed or changed out of recognition. If City folded, apart from driving through, l doubt l would visit Bradford again.

As usual lately, I'll make a very late decision on attending tomorrow.

Not based on weather or anything, just based on who can be bothered from our lot, if anyone.

Apologies in advance for being so disloyal as to actually make choices on how to spend my time lol

He is, apparently he’s getting tips off Rupp and Sparks on how to make fans disappear.

Alexander isn't the problem, the club is toxic and the root cause of it is Sparks.
