Their nos 10 & 7 - Jones and Crowley - absolutely played us off the park. Both had the ball on a string, even on our mud tip pitch, and always knew exactly what to do with it. This brings our recruitment into sharp contrast. When was the last time we had one, never mind two, midfielders who could exert so much control? Nicky Law, on a good day, I reckon.

 

So the players weren’t happy with Alexander’s interview after the match on Saturday and it looks like he back tracked to bull in last nights interview to get back on board with the players .If this is true,who the hell do these players think they are ,everyone damn one of them can go for me,sick of all of it.

 

My 1st game yesterday since Wimbledon on 3 Feb. Not because of private boycott but I was away in Belgium for 6 weeks.

I went for a wander in the main west stand concourse at half-time. Completely unscientific but it struck me looking around the high average age of the clientèle. I'd never noticed this before. Does this mean that the older folk are putting up with the crappy show on offer but younger are not? Or have I just failed to notice that main stand is always populated with old fogeys (like me)?

Need to keep younger generations interested.

Crowley started.off poorly, didn't want to get involved in the first 10 minutes but after that was a level above. We have the most painful pitiful central midfield in the division, Mansfield fans commented at the weekend how slow and ponderous we are in the middle of the park. How many times over the past three games have we been caught on the break, or been second to a bouncing ball or in Smallwoods case late to the tackle cos he's slo slow. I actually thought we were worse tonight than Saturday, Mansfield are a very good side but County were there for the taking. In the end we made them look like automatic promotion contenders.

 

Wasn't the team Alexander pick to start last Saturday that sort of team, no Cook.

 

Harsh. Luton & Huddersfield are constantly vote the worst places to live in the UK and both perform way above us.

 

Exactly how I feel. People won’t be coerced into buying a season ticket before 7th April to “save their seat”; they won’t be coerced into buying a season ticket before the 27th April price rise: they won’t pay £349 for a ticket after that.

The club really is in the sh-t.

 

Is that really what they announced ? If so, Sparks should resign simply on that fact.

 

The pictures of the sparse crowd at kick-off, backed off to the worst pitch in the EFL, are truly sad to see. A reflection of our demise and comprehensive mismanagement. And anyone who can't see it, is part of the problem.

 

I've been to Huddersfield town centre recently. Its in much, much better shape than Bradford.
