I figured it was Spring now...

 

I feel like we've actually had a decent record with Taylor in the side lately, but I haven't double checked

 

Bad weather over the next few days and with the state of the pitch I hope it’s not another drive and hope on Saturday

 

Another postponement would make things really really difficult towards the end, especially as other clubs won’t have the same fixture congestion.

 

The forecast doesn't seem too bad, a bit of rain tomorrow afternoon then only light rain on Saturday.

 

Heavy rain / snow forecast over next 2 days so I doubt it will be on and if it is then surely the pitch won’t be then fit for Tues.

I just can’t see the game going ahead unless the rain stops later and doesn’t rain tomorrow.
Sadly this is a conversation we’ll be having year after year whilst we remain at VP and don’t sort the pitch out properly. It’s embarrassing as a pro football club that we talk about the pitch and postponed games instead of the game itself.

 

We’re going to run out of midweek dates to fit all these games in soon.

 

You'd have a point if the amount of home games that were postponed actually matched the amount of home games that you claim are about to be postponed in the week leading up to them!

 

Absolutely throwing it down. Just drove by the ground to get back home and it's launching it down, will be for a few hours it seems. Very cold overnight. Hopefully on? Depends on tattered this rain makes the pitch today I'd say over anything due overnight or tomorrow.

What time you hoping for a pitch inspection tomorrow?

 

Personally I think every pitch inspection should be 1.30pm unless it’s absolutely obvious it can’t be played.

 

There are more snowflakes sat in their armchairs than are actually falling from the sky.
Its Winter , its wet, our pitch is muddy and will not get any better ant time soon, get on with it unless it becomes so puddled the ball will not run, no problems against Wycombe, some of our better football and we have had a few dry days since then for the pitch to drain off and be worked on.
