I thought Pereira started well, better than Banks even, despite the goal. But all of the front four were well managed by a clearly prepared Dons' defence. Our first came from a brilliant free kick and we got very few other opportunities. Chapman had a better game than I've seen him have since the start of the season - it looked like he'd shifted left with Dion as the 10, which initially looked exciting for us and confusing for the Dons - but we seemed not to notice this opportunity and revert to the tactics for the day. I suppose it's harder to notice when you're in the thick of it. Easier for us armchair managers.

 

Yep, impressed with Ayoub Assal and only 20 years old but called up to the provisional England U20 squad.
Hope he chooses England over Morocco.
Their number 9 Davison was on loan last season at Swindon until xmas- never a regular scorer but brought the likes of McKirdy and Williams into play.
Talking of Harratt, the wombles have Hudlin on loan from 'Uddersfield- all six feet nine of him.

In matches like this and Wallsall where we are over run in midfield Hughes needs to put aside his principles and go long like we did today only just in time to get a point. Then there is goal kicks they had watched us recently and put two men close to the keeper so he had to rush them and therefore his kicking today was poor

I thought Oliver was great and thoroughly deserved his goal. Won every header that was lumped up to him. Maybe MH has now seen we can also score goals via the long ball too. Some of our play out of defence from goal kicks today had me on the edge of my seat.

I agree with Park. Don’t understand why we brought Harratt in and don’t see where his opportunities come from in this system. I like the look of him too but one up top he’s not gonna play. Third choice at best or maybe fourth actually, given Angol was the go to bench man initially
