What is Bolton's current debt- a quick google says it was an eye watering £182 million in august 2015.

Has much of that tidy sum been written off recently.They still owe HMRC a sum of money(says the guy on PAYE who doesn't get the luxury of not paying taxes).

 

Those debts were written off before this owner took over

 

Define potential? What potential do we have as opposed to any other club in the bottom two divisions?

So the league are now loaning them cash to make sure they at least get to the end of the season

 

I read that there game on Saturday was due to be cancelled due to a large electrical fault affecting the stadium. Or the reality; they couldn’t pay staff so EFL stepped in

 

Originally the safety certificate was withheld due to not paying staff and emergency services. EFL stepped in with the cash for that.

Then there was a massive IT issue, not sure what, that was fixed Saturday am

 

It's never nice to see clubs fold but what Bolton are getting away with is scandalous, they should have either put them in admin or liquidated them last week, court case after court case with them, money owed all over the place, wages not paid, players striking and now the EFL help them out again.
I don't think other clubs would be so lucky.

 

Sounds like the preferential treatment the Bradford Bulls got.
