Away vs Morecambe 12th October

Like I say if 5/10 people put you off going then more fool you and good riddance. Give me a good atmosphere of singing and cheering over sitting and clapping like drones any day of the week. Travel up and down the country to watch what is usually pretty crap football, might as well make the most of it and have a laugh instead of moaning and sticking your nose up in the air. Just to reiterate I firmly disagree with the pyro and pitch encroachment.

It's not really 5/10 people.

Today for example there were loads stood in the isle at the front goading the police and stewards and acting like cocks. The Atmosphere can be fantastic without acting like a dickhead.

These people today climbing on the wall at the front and acting like dickheads to stewards are all too young to remember the fact we used to be caged in due to behaviour like this.

I actually think most do it for effect to post on social media thinking they are *@?$ of the walk.

 

Based on today I fully agree, seemed a weird atmosphere before the game, never mind in the ground. I was in a bar before the game and never seen so much cocaine in my life, ridiculous and embarrassing. Hope that’s not a sign of things to come.

 

All part of our game now, cocaine use amongst the younger end at football is almost as common as having a beer for the stone island mob. Doesn't bother me but is one of the reasons we have such a hyped up younger end at away games.

We have a few aspiring golfers in our fanbase - great to see!

 

Probably the sort that spend thousands on golf gear in order to play at the putting green at Northcliffe park (assuming it’s still there).

 

Plymouth are a strange one, they do get good numbers travelling away but their home gates for a catchment area that they have is very ordinary to say the least. I do know they have a strong London based fan club and I once talked to a lad who was in the northern branch supporters club based in Manchester which he reckoned had 200-odd members. Those lads saw plenty of away games but hardly any home.

 

Just noticed that there has been a land slide on the trainline between skipton and Lancaster line closed. Hope this is gonna be cleared before morecambe game sure it cud take a while by all accounts. Planning going on train.

 

Would've thought it will be main priority and not take too long to clear. Got my tickets £16 return from Bingley. A snip by all accounts.

 

Yes looked at that as we normally go from Halifax when heading west but not always Northern, can be transpennine express and also Virgin from Preston to Lancaster so are planning the Skipton route for this one.

Correct, and it is isn't a problem limited to City either. When I was 18 you just drunk beer and got p****d but nowadays they are too worried about their figures, spend all week in the gym posing in front of the mirrors, then get on the gear at the away matches to get off it without the calories.
