Away vs Morecambe 12th October

No worse than the “Everywhere we go” or the “Since I was young” chants, horrendously cringeworthy.

 

There was a chant I was hearing to the tune of Abba - Voulez Vous. Think it was Donaldson related. Can't remember it as I was under the influence when it was getting sung but just remember feeling the lyrics didn't really flow or make sense. If someone can enlighten me that would be good. Just to see if it is the chant that sounded wrong or it was the booze causing me issues.

Being sober hasn't really changed my opinion on the chant

 

Totally agree mate, each to their own as to where they choose to sit/stand, everyone has their own reasons/preferences. At the end of the day we're all there with a common goal, to cheer the boys on. There is no way I could tell what it was like in the seating bit as the noise where we were stood was deafening at times!

I wondered that myself. I was searched going in, as was the majority of blokes going through before & after us. When the pyro was let off after the first goal, it was thrown onto the concourse right in from of me, and they are not small by any means. Where on earth could they secreet them?

Yes once again the players were backed very vocally by the traveling hoards.

 

Wait till its all seaters again and we have the sitting/standing debate again. Standing uo definitely adds to the atmosphere.

 

After the 3pm deadline when I reckon the best part of 200 had been transferred past me on the home terrace to the "Official" away end, I reckon just me and my brother who is a part time Morecambe resident were the only "Bradford" fans on the Terrace which holds about 600, quite funny when Akpan scored the first goal I was the only person "celebrating" but there was no issues with the Home fans.

As numerous have said on here for me Cooke was MOTM, but Ellison had a very impressive cameo performance when he came on.

I don't have a problem with standing mate as long as it's not infront of me, it was reserved seating on Saturday but most just sat where they wanted and as long as the away stewards let us we sort our own standing/sitting out there shouldn't be a problem, the standing chanting lads go in one area we sit elsewhere.

 

Down the front of their "Y fronts" they don't frisk that area I'm told .

 

It strikes me that once they've said his name, his number and where he's from they've run out of anything else informative to say so have just tagged on the ubiquitous win the league line on at the end.
