Where can you get YEP from? Tried Tesco but only had Yorkshire Post. Waiting for Hfx Courier!!

 

No Andy, not a season ticket holder. It's not normally an issue but it coincides with me making a visit home. Sod's law says that it would be same time as a small ground with limited numbers. That's life I suppose. Oh, I had a season ticket 2 years ago but never got to use it.

I bought it from Yeadon Morrisons. I'm guessing supermarkets on the outskirts of Leeds might stock it. Sainsbury's Greengates, Morrisons Thornbury, etc.

 

Got them WHS in Broadway whilst waiting to be told that I get only 30% equity from a 20 year marriage and reduced pension despite paying thing for everything for 20 years!! Equality eh?

Can anyone get @Tennesseebantam a ticket? I’m sure there would be some kind soul that would do a favour for an exile travelling all that way? Seems a real shame if he missed out, long time contributor on Claret & Banter as well.

Tickets have been taken offline. I would expect it is to change them to general sale so he should be able to buy one shortly when they are put back online.

I'm surprise this fixture has got to general sale, it questions the need for priority ticket sales when we can't shift 1,500 tickets to Scunthorpe or Morecambe before general sale.

 

Why? Traditionally we don’t take that big numbers away from home. I’ve been to loads of away games where the following has been nowhere near yet some of those games were pretty accessible.

 

We always have been poor travellers, a club I’d consider “smaller” than us Plymouth travel far further in bigger numbers. Tbf there are a couple of other clubs “our size” who I’ve always found to have quite poor followings unless they’re doing really well and that’s Blackpool and Charlton.

 

Got one just now! Thanks for the concern though Skye. Emailed Mick Lamb on Wednesday and he replied very quickly telling me there were plenty left, don't worry. As commented by others, they went on general sale during night (for me) but I got sorted out when I got up this morning.

 

We’ve got a pretty fickle away support, if we’re going well then we can take good numbers and if not then numbers fall through the floor, obvious you might say but we seem to have a wider variance then most clubs. I Would even go as far as to say it can depend hugely on the previous game’s result, We’re taking over 1500 to Scunny it would have been little over half that if we hadn’t won Saturday

 

It would be interesting to know how many more supporters would go to away games, if our travelling idiots did not turn up and try to cause mayhem.
I tend to reserve my away ventures nowadays to the few grounds that I have not previously visited.

Because we stand and sing we’re idiots? Better than been an absolute bore and whinging about all us “idiots” incessantly. Yes the pyro and pitch encroaching is over the top but 99% of the lads are just there for the game and to have a laugh, maybe come speak to us and get to know us. If 5/10 idiots out of a 1000+ are enough to make that assumption then please stay at home.

I don't think I mentioned anything wrong about standing and singing, although continual standing is an inconsiderate pain.
The idiot referral was more aimed at our pyro and empty headed chav element (of all ages), which through drink or just stupidity make away trips no longer enjoyable.
Enjoy them,just not for me thanks.
