Well we are in a great position to achieve promotion wouldn’t it be better to leave all this Bowyer out crap until the end of the season to see where we are. After all what would happen if we sacked him today Drury in charge for at least a couple of weeks a new manager assessing a big Squad and unable to change anything. So like him or not he will be here till the summer when if he fails you can vent as much as you want

Shouldn't even be a debate about top 7 with the squad GB has at his disposal. Should be sitting in the top 3, it's his own fault the negativity is creeping in. Fans want promotion but we are regressing pretty quickly and the form table doesn't lie. Where are the goals and wins coming from to fire us to promotion? He's got a dream front line at this level and not utilising it. Fans want success and promotion but GB has his team playing like they are fighting for their lives against relegation. I want this club to show some ambition and get into that top 3 but from the board to the manager it doesn't look that way. Can you see this team winning a two legged playoff and a final essentially 3 cup games on the spin? His interviews are getting more bizarre by the day. Is the pressure getting to him? That paragraph doing the rounds on Twitter and Facebook saying it was a positive not to lose against Scunthorpe after coughing up a 2-0 lead at home. Is this the man we really want in charge? Seems more bothered about lack of defeats instead of the win column in my opinion. I want a winner in charge and Bowyer isn't that way inclined.

 

All 6 of our looses have been by 1 goal and we have a fair few draws now, not sure on the margins of all our wins. But most likely only one goal in it if not a draw. I’ll go 2-1 to us, we really should be beating teams in this kind of form.

If that's true and if they beat us we've earned exactly the same number of points as the team currently at the bottom of the form table.

But your post is quite damning. If Bowyer leaves, we've only got Drury.

Two things:

That implies we don't have the right coaching staff in terms of quality or quantity, and two, suggests the owners won't be considering the next potential candidates.

They absolutely should be looking at the next possible manager, albeit quietly, and we absolutely should have a better stocked coaching team particularly when our flaws are almost all a direct result of coaching.

The point with Drury is what the reaction would be with some of the support. There is absolutely no need to look for a new manager when we are where we are. If he fails like it or not that will probably happen in the summer

 

That's a long time in Bowyer years. Will feel like a decade getting to May with him. I agree with @JonButterfield The feelers should be out there so they are prepared when they pull the trigger. He shouldn't get past the Summer no matter what division we are in. We need to be prepared for once and ahead of the game instead of playing catch up like every summer.

 

It doesn't matter whether I like it or not, if Bowyer stays until the end of the season it's going to take its toll.

You simply cannot have people singing about the quality of football.

It's basic.

 

As I said just now most people watch home games and our record on points gathering goal scoring and winning games is very good.

 

Bowyer just isn't the right man for the club.

He loses on Saturday it will get toxic.. the club need to be looking for a replacement.

You keep on highlighting where we are in the league, so come Saturday if we lose and are out of the play offs are you going to stop doing it?

When does our situation becomes serious to you?

Also surely you can see fans are bored and not happy with our style of play?

You're on a cloud if you think the booing and chanting of Boring Boring Bowyer won't continue.. it will be soon followed by "we want Bowyer out"

Bowyer needs a good performance and a win for himself on Saturday or if could be painful for him.

There were boos round the ground at the final whistle as there always is after a poor result and performance the chants came from a very small minority after being given an excuse
I have attended every home match and there has been very good reception to the many victories and even against Salford where we played them off the park but didn’t win
