after today I’m starting to agree mate. We should be battering these teams with the team we have. We don’t move the ball fast enough and the hoofing today was awful. Awful performance by many. REEVES was the shining light.

Was it last month when GB alluded to our lack of bite up front and spent a week on finishing skills? Well along with everything else, overall he doesn't seem to be making any noticeable progress. Beep beep come on you was saying a player out for 2 years can't be expected to perform as he did prior to his long term injury, you even quote above "you didn't think he's that good at all" really, it was far from a good performance but within that Bradford City team yesterday he was our best player and if you could not see that there is no hope for you mate.
It was his first game back and we don't know how his body will react to those 80+ minutes but with regards what he offered in those 80+ minutes he blew your argument right out of the water.

 

I agree, I'd pair up both O'Connors next week. BRE needs that wake-up call, he didn't need to make that challenge, just stand up, the guy was going nowhere.

The only thing that surprised me was that Bowyer actually caved in to pressure from the fans and went 442, bringing Oteh on. He is so stubborn that I thought he'd just dig his heels in further and persist with 433. No coincidence we scored not long after the formation change

No more p!ssing about now Bowyer. You owe it to the hardened fans, who continue to back the team in numbers on freezing cold afternoons, to cut out the experimenting with crap formations

This was a game which was there for the taking, against a very fragile side, and yet again we failed despite the numerous promises from players & manager that they would "right the wrongs from the Plymouth game". Well I saw no improvement whatsoever. We were flat, devoid of enthusiasm and ideas, and this is 90% down to GB and his crap decisions

Also a mention for "signing of the season" BRE. Absolute liability, and he must now be dropped for Paudie. How he escaped another card & ban is beyond me!

If they went bust tomorrow then Exeter , Swindon and Cheltenham would all lose 3 points and we’d lose none.

A few need to remember what happened with us under McCall when he was sacked with us in the playoffs, same at Sunderland. If a team is in the playoffs they’re playing for the manager whether they’re doing well or slogging on like us, it’s an important part of football. They’re trying but some shocking errors today Vaughan, Wood and Richards-Everton in particular were well below standards we expect. Woods deliveries were the worst I’ve ever seen from him all afternoon.
