    Bowyer's philosophy away from home has been not to lose. He'll try keep it tight for as long as possible and then introduce him off the bench to scuff in a winner.

    I was looking to book train tickets for this one but major engineering on East coast main line this weekend make it look a bit of a chore via midland main line.
    Could always do an overnight I suppose.

    They'll be delighted to see him!

    You're just been deliberately disingenuous to Bowyer. No "logic" explains your view - simply because when Bowyer's had two proven strikers available, he's played them together.

    Oteh was played, but proved inconsistent and then with Donaldson out there were no other viable striking options

    Playing Connolly was the only sensible option and it wasn't that disastrous

    Some fans simply can't get in their heads, that you don't play two strikers just for the sake of it

    You play two strikers when you have two of the calibre of Vaughan and Doyle at League 2 level. Bowyer has been handed the keys to the league title, pressure is on for GB. Only a moron would play 3 centre halves and sacrifice one of Vaughan, Doyle or Donaldson when fit.

    You do if its Doyle and you do if its Vaughan, both play better with a partner. And our periods of success as a team has always been with a successful strike partnership.
