We must beat Colchester. Not won away in 3 matches and not scored a goal either in last 4 away.
I’ll be backing under 2.5 and draw again as it’s easy money at minute with city but our run must start there. Get some points on board before January

It was a lottery at times yesterday, with the ground only being small and little hight to the stands all single tier there was no let up with the wind, I'm not making excuses but Premier League player would have found those condition hard to play any kind of football in.

The thing is you play the conditions first half was about keeping the thing in the deck but we did very little of that ...........just very poor again the 2nd half was a lot better but honestly I will be amazed if Scunthorpe stay up we made a very poor team look ok others won’t

Easy to say keep it on the ground in those conditions, would you have tried to play in out from the back first half rather than ROD trying to hit it long, couldn't believe the stick he was getting from some of our fans, they saw how difficult it was when the Scunthorpe keeper keep finding touch.
I went in hope of seening a reaction to the second half at Tranmere but once you got into the ground you knew it was going to be difficult all in all IMO for either said to have got all 3 pints would have been an injustice.
I'm still awaiting a video with the Songo penalty shout we were at the right hand side of the goals so not the best view but I though we had a justified shout.

I’ve just listened to the Radio Leeds after match commentary and Clarke is more in agreement with your view than mine, but what he did say was Forest Green played there recently and won first and second balls. That’s not something a manager should have to tell any player in my opinion. I suppose it falls back to recruitment and not since Parky, has the mental strength of a player been considered as a fundamental part of a players make up.

Going back to the first half, maybe @Bronco@Bronco can tell us whether the weather was equally as bad in both halves or maybe worse for us, which might help explain the poor display.

If ROD was a decent keeper he would have scored yesterday from one of his kicks.

It most certainly looked a stone waller for me on TV Dave.
I was amazed when yet another referee decided to not give one, exactly the same when Sutton was fouled just inside the box.

That's not to take away yet another abysmal performance, just slightly better than Tranmere.

It was horrendous for both teams, first half was mainly gale force but second half it started raining/sleeting for around 20 minutes or so.
Anyone who went to Fleetwood a few seasons ago and the gale blowing off the sea could appreciate yesterday's conditions, as I posted for either teams to get all 3 points would have been harsh, but I wish that shot that hit the post had gone in ;).
What was ironic was there no snow when we pulled up at our pre booked pub in Doncaster, just a 10 minute journey to the ground where there was no snow in fact the rain/puddles had not frozen over at the end of the game, got dropped off at Mayo Morrisions and it was solid ice.

As I say mate mine was not the best view from our seat (there's a laugh) never sat down for the whole 90 minutes fans stood up infront of us, but as you say we looked straight at the referee and he waved it away, I thought the referee had a decent game overall he did try and let the fame flow, but as I say I need another look from the camera angle which had a far better view/angle.

Songo wether it was or wasn't I couldn't see but his claim probably wasn't helped by Angol theatrics.

Some of Angol attempts to win freekicks falling to ground untouched were embarrassing to see.

Yes I believe Angols first 4/5 challenges finished up with him on the ground gesturing to the referee he'd been fould, who then waved play on, I'm getting to like this new style of refereeing and not being conned by players the FA just need to change the silly off side rule.

Were you on the Dolly Shara yesterday Bronco? I went with Shipley Bantams and got dropped off in Bradford and headed for Jacobs Well and several pints of Abbeydale Deception.

What an dreadful game that was yesterday. Granted the conditions on and off pitch were awful but even if the scun had shone it would not have improved the standard beyond a "park game".

Lets be clear we have playing for us some of the worst players ever to have worn a City shirt. Some might claim we havs seen worse individually and that might be true ? But as a group of players coming together at the same time they are shockingly bad.

This revolves around their application; ability to read the game; anticipate things and simply connect things up between them. Rarely is there a passage of play that joins up with a meaningful impact on the opposition ? It all comes to nothing and chances just fritted away.

Theres is no leadership or ditection on the pitch and its just like school boy football. Everyone just chasing the ball; getting in each others way and looking lost as to what they are supposed to do ? Its amatuer level.

All this by the way is under Derek Adams ? These players are poor I think we can all recognise that. But what exactley have Adams & Trueman (lets not ignore his part in this and lsst seasons "fall off a cliff") done to improve any of them. Very little in my opinion. Theres nobody out there benefittinv one iota from the "Derek Adams School of Coaching" not one. Infact they are actually suffering from the DASC given the terrible injury record amongst this group.

Adams with 2 wins in 20 games should now be starring down the barrel. But hes not because he can say with some justification "well just look at the state of the players" . Hes getting away with it because we are sold the myth that Derek Adams is a "three times League 2 promotion achiever". He might be ? but this far into a seriously unimpressive reign he is not showing it.

He could be showing it by us seeing actuall improvement in his class. But the dimwits are not any brighter nearly half way through the first year and at this rate every single one of them are heading for bottom grades ! Adams also actually shows himself up by failing to recognise a "star pupil" in Ollie Crankshaw !. We could also see that OC had a bit of something to "make things happen" when he came on (as rare as it was!) but he did. Adams cannot clearly see that in him as he sends him off to Stockport County Finishimg School ! and of course he is doing exactly that finishing ! Shows Adams up to me does this ? Also Ryan Sparks & the Club for going along with it. It wont be long now before Stockport are passing us by. What do we get yesterday Abo Eisa yet another player with an appalling injury record and embelishing that further - useless to us like the rest of them.

We need to ask some questions about Adams & Trueman for that matter ? Their methods are not improving the players and clearly their message is wrong or they simply cannot take it in. So we carry on in the hope that the cavalry will arrive next month ? Do we have virtually a whole team of replacements lined up ?. We know from last season that Bolton "binned off" nigh on the entire first eleven and started again on a run that secured promotion. We could do that but can we get rid of these players and their contracts and have we the £s available to replace them ? I doubt it which means nothing much is likely to change ?

We are being massively let down by the management & players of this Club. 15000 home crowds is outrageous for the standard of football Adams is delivering week in week out. Near on 2000 yesterday away to stand in those conditions and watch that ? You can say well you can choose not to go ? But thats not how this works is it ? Right now we go because we hold onto the romantic ideal that things are going to get better. The thought of the "good times" keeps us warm. But I fear the good times are a long long way from returning and that Adams & Truemans inability to school these players in their "methodology" means things are not getting better any time soon and their respect at the front of this class is diminishing game by lousy game.

It was noticeable that just before he scored Songo'o was yelling at Canavan and O'Connor to join him nearer the six yard box to pressure the keeper. When he's fit and playing central midfield Songo'o has got a bit of Gary Jones about him. Make him captain?

Maybe. I think a good side who can control the ball and pass it to one another would still be able to play through a side 92nd on the ladder.

    Sorry but that’s bollocks - it’s a crap excuse.

It’s the same for every team that plays in less than perfect conditions in any division regardless of how tall a stand is ffs - part of the skill is being able to adapt to different scenarios such as home/away, hot/cold, wind/rain.

You’ve never heard a team go down or miss out on promotion because of how the weather was on their matchdays.
