I was going to type he was worse than Vernam as well - but a part of my brain couldn't comprehend someone being worse than Vernam and so my fingers couldn't manage it.

The reason he didn't give either was probably partly due to Angol throwing himself to the ground early on.

 

Maybe Adams has asked Angol to do that, after all most other sides seem to have mastered the art..!!

Last season and this we don’t seem to get many free kick opportunities around the box. At least we appear to have cut down the number we give away though.

Thought came to me watching the extended highlights earlier.
Im a fan of Callum Cooke and have been critical of his poor goal return for such an all round good footballer.
He had 2 similar chances on Sat with shots from the edge of the box probably from half cleared corners. His positioning was bang on and he gave himself the opportunity to get in a shot.
He missed the target with both attempts which really was unacceptable for a player with his assets
