Who finds watching a funeral as entertainment? Delay KO for 5 mins for the minutes silence and crack on, Record and watch later if you must

 

Another game I had zero enjoyment of even when we equalised. Last game of me for the season, watched every game until now. Terrible season overall, well done T & S for keeping us up. But I want more at this level, much more what a complete disgrace.

This club was heading to non league before Parkinson came in and brought leaders on and off the pitch to the club. Who’s going to do it now? Time to stand up and be counted, big summer coming up. Because we’re in unprecedented times with Covid, people will only put up with this crap for so much longer before they decide they can find better things to do on a Saturday afternoon. Life’s to short for this crap, even in our winning streak the football has been turgid can’t say I’ve enjoyed a moment of it.

 

My two teenage daughters are desperate for some retail therapy. So, they've asked me to take them to Harrogate.
Whilst they're busy helping Britain's retail establishments recover, I'm going to wander down to the ground and see if I can catch a sneak at my first live game of the season.

 

Atrocious performance. And another example of how much work needs to be done ahead of next season. And also, of why I don't think T&S should stay in the hot seat.

Increasingly, our performances are Bowyer-like.

The lack of ability is palpable. 2 awful goals to concede, the number of misplaced passes, scuffed or wildly off target shots, players running into the opposition....deary me.

 

I've had my doubts about these two for quite a while now, Dave.
Some may not agree but for me it would be "thanks lads, you did a good job keeping us up but time to move on"

T & S haven’t convinced since getting the job and new contracts.

Massive mistake yet again by Sparks with managers and their contract situation. Yes, they deserved a contract but surely it should’ve been until the end of the season and review.

 

Can't they move the funeral time instead of unnecessarily inconveniencing thousands and thousands of people?

Bloody Sky and BBC to blame wanting high viewing figures I bet.

 

Yeah but I don't think its quite that simple. T&S came in and threw out the nonsensical approach we had under mccall. They gave us a proper defensive shape and we put in place a few of the basics that were missing. Novak coming back helped and our form picked up, largely because we were edging a number of very close games and we probably benefitted from that new manager bounce. Our overall performances haven't dropped off massively, but we're now losing out on more of these close games. We need a squad rebuild, and whilst I don't think we'll change T&S in the summer, we need to take a very long, hard and dispassionate look at whether they're right for us next season, once the season ends. Personally, I don't think they'll be here by Christmas and next season will end up being another of transition, upheaval and ultimately, failure.

The bottom line here, is that far too many are just not good enough.

 

To be honest I thought once we equilised there were only one winner, we were the team with all the pressure but once again a pretty simple ball out wide their lad goes at Cousin-Dawson drops his shoulder and beats O'Donnell completely with a well placed strike into his far corner, questions were asked when the lad Hornby was dropped, but IMO more questions need asking of why as many thought one was a better keeper at commanding his box and the other was possibly a better shot stopper, O'Donnell has hardly been convincing since his return.

 

Rowe and Cook upfront please, Cook playing slightly ahead of Rowe, along with two wingers.

Nothing to lose and all to play for these last few games.

And buses and trains.
And hairdressers and nail bars.

Crankshaw was man of the match after a 20 minute cameo. Speaks volumes about the rest of them. 'But I'd take us playing badly and getting three points' the ones who said that hold your heads in shame.

 

Yep. Shite, the lot of em. A complete lack of quality, coaching, desire. The fact we've dodged relegation has fudged perception for many. This season has been a shit show. Overtaken by Harrogate as a club.

It will be interesting to hear his take on how we are ending the season with many supporters starting to question his appointed dream team.

Senior players like Watt?! Biker he is a young lad and thats part of the problem, we have had no midfield general to help take the pressure off him. He had been a virtual ever present whilst the rest of his midfield colleagues have been unavailable - yes his performances have tailed off but I think it is just too easy to lay the blame on him
