    It's 150 season ticket, 50 Away Priority, 40 1903 Club.

I have 240 points and attended the Oldham home game, which suggests there are no additional points for home game attendance if you have a season ticket.

That maybe the case but it's supposed to be a loyalty based on games attended. Attending 23 is more than attending 8 last I checked.

Actually season tickets were £200. Attending 10 games costs £200. Attending 23 for a season gets you 150 points. Attending 10 games gets you 200 points.

Is it loyalty based on attendance ? I thought it was loyalty based on income to the club.

No loyalty scheme would prioritise non season ticket holders over season ticket holders. That's just daft.

it looks like it is points per £ spent a bit like Tesco card, which would explain why the points for an away game game are less than a home game.

A season ticket is undervalued then. 150 points.

If someone attended every home game with a season ticket, every away game, had a 1903 membership and away priority card they would earn 470 points.

If someone bought a ticket to every home game without a season ticket they would earn 460 points.

So by attending half the games they would have basically the same points and would be over 300 points better off than a regular season ticket holder.

I know this scenario is unlikely but I think it points out how undervalued 150 points for a season ticket is.

And the person with the most points will have earned the club more income

That's not the case. Someone buying 8 tickets at home will have 160 points but a season ticket holder will only have 150.

Are you actually arguing that someone who rocks up and buys tickets weekly should by the end of the season have 300 points more than you would as a season ticket holder?

All depends on what they are giving points for. I agree they haven’t made it clear if they are rewarding loyalty by attendance or loyalty via income. Looking at the scheme it looks like they are rewarding income. Which if so they should just make it simple and do points per pound spent directly with the club and a lower points per pound spent for away matches eg 1 point for each £ spent directly with the club and for away games 1 point for every £20 spent.

Why not just pay for priority on that basis, there is no loyalty in that.

If you are going down that route what about the shirt I have bought myself and my daughter. That's the best part of £100.

Yep I agree. That is why they need to make it clear what the scheme is incentivising.

    currently it is a mess

But someone who pays on the gate for ever match provides the club with more revenue so from that angle it makes sense

By attending 10 games they paid the same as a season ticket holder who attends 23 games but they have 50 points more, so no they don't provide the club with more revenue.

Anyone with a suite upgrade pays more still but still gets 150 points.

If you are basing it on how much money they pay over, give them points for buying merchandice etc, car parking spots, beers at half time, programmes, etc.

A loyalty scheme is for a football club should be purely based on attending games, otherwise it's just a pay for the benefit.

I very much doubt you would be championing someone who bought 10 match tickets this season to be first in the queue for a ticket to Liverpool in the cup over yourself as a season ticket holder because they have more points.

Again it all comes back to Season ticket points being massively undervalued, on the basis 8 game tickets which cost less than a season ticket provide more loyalty points.

POTG pricing is £25, hence the 8 games equates to an ST.
The issue here is that as you say it's allegedly a Loyalty Card when in fact it appears to be a Reward Card

And a season ticket holder in a suite has paid north of £300 and has 150 points, so whats your point?

They would also only pay £160 if they bought their tickets 1 day before the game, which can easily be one online with the E ticketing.
