No one is stopping the people who 'routinely attend' away games from buying a priority pass, are they? If they can afford the expense of frequent away trips then they can easily afford a one-off £30 for a priority pass. They are also highly likely to be fully on top of club news so should be in a position to get in quickly to snap them up. There's plenty of notice given so it's easy for them to go online and snap one up on the first day of sale. If they choose not to, that's their stupid fault.
If others, who only attend a few games, choose to buy one as insurance, that's their prerogative.

Not too sure why it's an issue for @Loyalbantam@Loyalbantam ,

I've got away priority for the first time I'm off to Exeter but mainly bought then for the hgate and Salford game , I'm sure the rest of the away games there will be plenty to go round

Every fan had the option to buy one !

You pay your money you take your chance

But why would the fans who trawl to Exeter etc be in this position? All they had to do was buy a priority pass?
I'll happily admit that I've bought a priority pass as insurance for the smaller away games or the slight possibility of another Chelsea-type scenario. What's wrong with that? If someone is prepared to put £30 extra into club funds to get first dibs on important away games, why shouldn't they? Especially as the regular away travellers have exactly the same option to to do the same.

If you want to buy a priority ticket to guarantee you certain away tickets then there is nothing in the terms and conditions to stop you doing this. Thankfully in my opinion a point system is fairer in the fact the more games you get to in a season should give you priority over other fans who have been to less games. There has to be some form of reward for fans who travel everywhere.

    No they didn't.

I got mine a few days after they went on sale.

They took about 5 days to sell out

wait for the complaints that you have to buy tickets through VP rather than pay on the gate to get your points

As did I, I can’t claim to be as loyal as the mighty loyal bantam but I do my fair share and bought one so I don’t risk missing out again should we get another Chelsea or Fleetwood situation. Two games I was gutted to miss and for £30 quid I won’t be making the same mistake this season just in case. Some of our attendances down south are only around 350-400 and I imagine that includes bantams who’ve moved down there. So we probably only have around 200 fans who go to every game religiously they easily had enough time to get one.

Won’t be an issue next season anyway so he’ll have one less thing to whinge about.

    Anyway

according to the club season ticket holders will get points for matches attended so that issue should be solved when the IT catches up

Why would they have sold out, they were only put on sale today and priority holders have until Thursday to buy tickets. If you are guaranteed one as a priority ticket holder what difference does it make in buying one now or one before Thursday?

As you say I attend games as and where I can I've never made a secret of it, I'd think I'll attend over 50% this season all being well, I have nothing but admiration for the likes of Shipley Bantams or Bingley Bantams who run coaches to all games, I've been there and done it in the past and don't think I am any less of a fan than my new buddy @Loyalbantam@Loyalbantam, some need to get a sense of reality that you can't categorise fans by the amount of games they attend, unfortunatly some do.

I resent the idea that priority holders might be chancers . Some of them are far more noble than that. Some of them got their priority card simply so they could watch people go apoplectic with faux rage whilst claiming to be Uber fans. Let me tell you, it’s been a boon to the popcorn industry.

For the sake of £30 I would have thought as yourself it would be good insurance against that very point of not getting into the likes of Harrogate Town wouldn't you ?.

I have purchased a priority card when they have been on offer for the very reason I've quoted, I'm not bothered about where that would leave other fans they have had chance to buy one as we have knowing games against the clubs with smaller ground capacity might be a problem getting into so buy a priority ticket.

I can assure you now there will be away games that I won't be attending I don't have a problem with listening to the game on the radio that will be my choice, if I don't have enough priority points next season so be it, I can't think of more grounds in League One where our away support can't be accommodated, as Ryan says when we visit these clubs it's usually the biggest pay day of the season.
Don't forget to post your betting slip on here Loyalbantam then we know you're a man of your word .

Don’t see your point presumably the ones that travel the country every other week have joined the loyalty scheme and they will get the points for attending all the games so why not let those who join in order to guarantee a spot at places like Harrogate have the rest

Any idea how many of the 1,000 cards were set aside for use by the various travel clubs?

The priority arrangement is needed for a handful of games at best, if you want a ticket to 95% of games this season you will probably get one without issue.

Some games will sell out, but if you act quick enough you will secure tickets.

I see Harrogate as the game with the highest take up due to it being so easy to access and in a small ground.

Sutton will only become difficult if we are in the mix, otherwise the distance will put some off.

We only need priority once in a blue moon, so when that blue moon comes around, those who have built up points will be fine, infact many who only have a handful of away games to their name will see themselves handily placed for tickets as our average away following over an entire season is probably around 1,000 (stats from 19/20 season until suspension)

Just to add to the above:

Once you've logged into the ticket site, click on where it says 'Hello' followed by your name and membership number, it should take you to the 'My Account' page. Look down that page and 'Your Loyalty Points' should be somewhere down the bottom of that page.

Just checked with the club and 997 were sold on or before 7th July, so anyone who bought before gets first dibs before you ....................... :)
