Can't see that Dave especially with him only just signing from.Arsenal and expected to be in and around the 1st team squad this season

I don't know how Devante Cole has managed to keep his football career going.
He was a prime example of the i am footballer, You do know my dad is Andy Cole, the world owes me a living.
He might have changed since then, but somehow i dont think so.

 

5 goals in 4 games since signing from Arsenal's under 18 squad. You would think, even though McCall is thought to be interested, if Leeds allow him out on loan this season, it would be a higher end league 1 club.

Is this the boy we were talking about last season? Seem to remember someone mentioning a young Leeds player who looks ready to make the next step.

 

Not sure why anyone thought it was even a remote possibility. He doesn't strike me as the sort of player or person McCall would be interested in at all.

I suppose while players are available with a previous club connection people will put two and two together,nothing more nothing less.
I think any further signings before the window closes will be virtually unknown to most of us.
Just my opinion nothing more.

Plenty of our ex strikers scoring today. Doyle, Gibson, Wells, even Jordan Gibson. Don't know why I bother looking, but seeing as we weren't playing, thought I'd add more torture before watching the Leeds match.

 

Yeah Clocked the scorers including a couple for Vaughan. Hate to say it but I was impressed with Leeds today. All aspects from off the ball, movement, retention, tackle, closing down.

 

Not to mention the never say die attitude. Full of running til the final whistle. Some manager they've got.

 

Pains me to ask this but is Bielsa the best "signing" in English football in the last few years?

 

Can they go the distance though?


We've seen during the championship campaigns, they tend to have a major blip in February/ March. That could be because of the amount of work they've put in. In the premier league, they might not have that cushion. Fulham look in trouble already so we'll see if they keep it up.

Must admit though, had the crowd been there yesterday, they'd probably have got all 3 points.

 

The one thing that makes a big
difference to a club is signing a
top manager.

Didn't know about Bielsa before
he joined them but he is the reason
they got promoted and will probably
keep them there.

 

Unfortunately I can see them finishing in top 10 this season and as long as bielsa is there they will keep improving.
