We have brought in 2 players in the last 7 days , have no league game until a week tomorrow and are apparently still in the market.
I am not saying our squad is perfect, but i think many a club is far worse off than we are , player wise.
When the window closes, you can still sign free agents and there are a lot out of work at the moment.
I personally do not think the club is doing too bad, given the circumstances.
After all we are a league 2 club operating in difficult times, with a vastly reduced playing budget from last season.
Amazingly between the end of this window and the winter one , its a short period of time this year, although i will say that is when we panic and make a fool of ourselves.

Maybe now we have Bryce Hosannah we could go back and ask Leeds if we could take Sam Greenwood on a season long loan.

 

Whilst we appear to have done ok so far, one injury to Novak and we’ll be in the brown stuff.

Yeh he's good. Far too good for L2 football as he'll be close to their first team this season. Isn't coming here that's for sure.

Funny you should mention that, Greenwood is on McCall's radar, Leeds haven't decided whether to allow him out on loan or keep him for the under23 squad yet.

Agree Andy C. Stuart doesn't have a perfect mix of players by any means, yet. But Hosannah's signing looks hopeful. Couple of weeks yet to sign that elusive striker - young loan or more experienced signing. Let's judge the Macca by his onward signings and his results.

 

Maybe because their current clubs are waiting to sign replacements.
