In light of the last two seasons, if we only lose 500k we're going in the right direction and would be a small loss in the situaion football finds itself in.

If the players we bring in are loan players, I'm guessing we won't be responsible for paying their wages if the season is put on hold or abandoned, as they will just return to their parent clubs. That could mean we will be left in a better position financially than a lot of other clubs, albeit more by accident than design.

I read it as £500k less income rather than losing £500k, I am also of the opinion though that Sparks might not have the best grasp of how the finances of a business work.
Whilst City might well see the season out, I don’t think Rupp will see the club fail, I’d be surprised if all the other 23 clubs in league two make it without government or PL support and I’m not sure either will help. They’re too self interested.

I also read it like that, it's "potential revenue", and thought that in the scheme of things, that's not too bad at all. The great thing about "potential revenue", is that you don't lose anything by trying different ideas to make up the shortfall either! Get cracked on Ryan! My concern is Bradford City and Ryan have turned in to lets be positive and not tell it straight. I agree I fully believe that Ryan has got it mighty wrong here. Massively.

I believe considering Rupp had LOANED us 1m plus that we were always not going to do much this transfer window. Rhodes will be concentrating on getting Rupp his loan back.

Rhodes as CEO and a financial man needs to come out honestly and talk to the fans now. I have said it before that at times the fans need to here from Rhodes and Rupp and this is one of them.

 

Or is it that our club is still regarded as toxic on the players circuit.. ?

 

I think having a current PL player as a shareholder helps

 

Honestly mate, I can't say what Rupp would do. He has taken a massive hit since buying the club.
